The way it works is that the Beta code from ANY Blizzcon year works. You enter the code and it gives you the code for the current beta. I used my Wrath of the Lich King beta for SC2 and so did many others.
(Note if you're desperate you can get some relatively cheap keys from Ebay this way off cards where the WoW pet/mount key was already used but not the beta key)

I think I paid $200 for an SC2 beta key so I could play on Day 1, but it didn't matter because I had just sold 1 WoW character for $900 and another WoW character for $500. Similar to now with my SC2 coaching/account leveling, except I make less money with SC2 lol.

For me, even 100 bucks would be ridiculous price for an beta invite! Hopefully i get lucky and get one from Facebook/other communitys or Blizzard's beta invitation system.

Yeah, I've been blessed with a very good job and lots of other opportunities to make money for little to no effort. Personally, even if beta keys were $400 I would purchase one.

Edit: Looking through diablo.incgamers.com, the twitter is fake, however the screen saying beta is defeated looked legit, and came from a legit twitter acc.
