You can take Golem at level 1 with Phoenix Stance / Smite with Cloth Armor and 4x Health Pots (that is with my level 20 Masteries and no runes). With better runes and masteries I think it is possible to open differently though. You can do Dragon at 5 or 6 depending on what skills you have and runes / masteries / items.

With proper masteries and runes I think you can Phoenix level 1 with a Sapphire, and go Locket, although I'm not sure if Locket is really a defacto build on him anymore.

Started ganking and checking their forest a lot more and starting to break even on wins it seems! Instead of just getting maxed out and dying 3v5 every fight!

BTW for everyone REALLY stuck at low ELO, you could just save 6000 IP and buy Twitch. That thing when played properly(no malady) is going to absolutely destroy every noob team and most others as well.

1 heimer in a game isnt so bad, but one on each team really comes down to "who has the better heimer" pretty stupid. it was the same thing with old tf.

So phoenix is the skill for jungling?
And what runes/masteries are good for Udyr/jungling?
As for items I go trinity force starting with phage -> sheen. What build do you advocate with him?

the first time I saw a twitch, I thought he was the most imbalanced thing in the entire fucking game. ridic early game vs. scrubs because stealth is scary and hard to understand, and then he gets fed and wipes their entire team every fight with spray and pray.

Udyr should really be built as a tank, kind of like Nasus, because Phoenix Stance gives him pretty good innate DPS. If you can really afford it (unlikely) you can do weird stuff like attack speed (to proc Phoenix more often) or just outright more damage, but... yeah.

I really haven't seen much in the way of Udyr lately...
it seems between TT nerfs and locket nerfs, his SR game got pretty mangled.

Does cleanse on invis champions work to remove TF's ulti's detection? I know that it removes the icon but does it remove the effect?

Yes, Cleanse has always removed the detection effect.

I've seen some Udyrs but they've all been underwhelming as they attempted to find some way to build him. IMO I'd still do something similar to what I used to do (Malady -> GA), but I have no idea if it'd work at our level anymore.

IMO Udyr could get Tiget stance and just push the towers in about 2 seconds, but for some reason it seems like no one has even really tried that

Because Tiger slash is bad for jungling, is significantly less DPS vs other people, and because Bear/Turtle stance are considered necessary to do anything with him.

You can cleanse out of TF's ulti but you can't cleanse out of Karthus's 
Sivir can spell shield it though.

Turtle Stance is just way better early game for jungling
Bear Stance is way better early game for ganking

Karthus ulti is nothing but damage, why would you even be able to cleanse it
EDIT: Yeah I guess that's pretty much it, Phoenix is necessary for jungle, bear for ganking, turtle for survivability, so tiger just has no room... even though it does destroy towers in just a few seconds at lvl 9 <_>
EDIT2: Twitch's passive does pure dmg >_> Soooooooo imbalanced

also banshee's blocks it as well. have yet to try quicksilver
