Also, the autocracy tree seems to provide nearly limitless happiness, which should make military conquest easier.
It seems that they are going to nerf religion by making social policies more powerful.... which is excellent.

People will still take church property, if it's still available, over anything else. While spamming Missionaries and Prophets.

I don't really see how that works unless you're talking about the opportunity costs of building religious buildings vs cultural buildings.

Yes, which is a shame considering they have one of the largest (if not the largest) cultural contributions on the planet.
Father religion of the largest and 2nd largest practiced religion on the planet. Also the nomadic Jews had quite an interesting history- esp during the rise of Rome.

It may be just me, but after watching nearly all of PrimeEval youtube videos all games end in space race victory. I have yet to see a MP win that isn't a domination forfeit or space race win. If balance discussions ever come up, you'd think the shear numbers of SR and Dom vics would be seen as imba beyond contestation.
EDIT:
Question, other than Prim and Yoruus does anyone else upload MP games? I've really been enjoying them. I can't believe how many hours I've already chewed through.

So now Wonders will need/can be unlocked via Policy tree i.e. Big Ben in the Commerce tree.

/sigh Israel is the ancient home to the Jews before they were removed Israel has a majority Jewish population There are more Jews than non-Jews.
I hate it when people say things like Israel=/= Jews.
It's not hard to Wiki Jew to see that they are a Nomadic people who ended up settling the lands were Israel currently resides.

Again, you do realize that the claim that Israel represents the 'Jewish civilization' is hilarious wrong. Israel =/= Jews because Israel is a modern nation state, populated by people who closely resemble -- for the most part -- North Americans and Western Europeans in their political and social outlook. 'Jews' as a people are as varied as anyone else, and to claim that a modern day Israeli Jew (and even the definition of what a modern Israeli Jew is debatable, are we talking about Azheknazi immigrants? Sabra? Ultra Orthodox? Ethiopean Israelis?) is even remotely comparable to someone like Joseph ibn Naghrela makes as much sense as comparing Silvio Berlusconi to Andrea Dorea (Hey look, they speak Italian and both are Catholic!)

Again, you are wrong. Political and social outlook does not affect ones religion or birth, and does not always reflect ones culture. To be Jewish is one of 3 things- Jewish by Birth, Jewish by Faith, Jewish by culture. If you educate yourself you'd see that post WWII when the founding of Israel took effect- that mass migration of Jews from all over the world flooded into their new home. Jews from EU, America, and SE Asia and even Africa. They were given land back that traces back to their ancestral home that was in hindsight-- with all the Muslim around may not of been the safest place for them to be, but that's another topic. American Jews went in mass droves- and the American Jew was also a very diverse grouping of Jews since you had pre war Jews already in America as well as the refuges that came as a result of German anti Semitism.
TL;DR You're bagging our claim on social outlook and political behavior which is horribly wrong, and you have no idea what makes a Jew a Jew.

Civilization 5 with gods and kings is a great game but I couldn't play more than about 30-40 hours of it simply because the AI is too dumb, you basically need to discover how to exploit the dumb AI in different situations to win on the hard difficulties ( 7 and 8 ) because it's simply to fucking overpower and on 6 and bellow the game is just a too freaking easy. I guess I could try changing the settings and maps more but in the end it seems like you would still end up with ether having a very easy game because the AI is dumb or a game where you have to simply "exploit" a few niches such as wonders to win against a dumb AI with triple resources. If someone could ever design a good AI for a civ game as a mod or maybe even the devs as DLC that would be the best day of my life.

To me, Israel seem like a more successful version of Liberia.

So to fill the time before Brave New World I finally bought the other civs by getting the "Gold edition" of the game. Holy crap, Incas are hilariously overpowered, the Koreans UU is a trebuchet that is like a better cannon so even on immortal you can spend most of the game with just them and conquer the shit out of everything -- which is ironic since Korea is a science tech -- but the most fun is easily -- for my playing style -- Polynesia. You get to sail over oceans on day one, you get a cool looking little tile improvement that you can cover your coasts with. Plus they seem to get some kind of start bias that gives them a ton of resources. The only civ i dont particularly care for is Denmark.

While playing Immortal Challenge 4 (?) I realized as Denmark you can make your units disembark THEN defend. It seems pretty interesting/broken in certain situations...
But yea, they are fairly niched overall.

So while perusing the civfanatics forums, I saw that someone had actually come up with a good use for the Pyramids. In short, the build uses the Pyramids to launch a 5-6 city liberty opener. It works pretty well, especially if you grab messenger of the gods for an early faith.

You mean ICS with the Mayans? It's not new or innovative by any means.

Maxis would be suicidal to try and wade into the whole arab states controversy with an isreali civ. Even with their ancient kingdom roots and their modern sparta like existences.

It's not new or innovative by any means. It wasn't Mayan-specific, but it was basically an ICS build. I just hadn't seen one that incorporated the Pyramids. I usually go tradition and have generally ignored ICS builds. However, this one has its uses -- particularly when you have a poor capital with some room to expand.

Sure, but it's more effective with the Mayans than anyone else.
With Pyramids + MotG + Meritocracy, you can get 5 science for the cost of 3 happiness with each city... which is really good.
