The lasers in that game are so terrible - not so much because they're impossible to dodge (pretty much everything in Touhou except Icicle Fall -Easy is hard to dodge) but because I don't recognize that I'm in trouble until it's too late, so I die with 2 bombs way too often in UFO. I tried a Marisa B MoF lunatic run the other day, got all the way to stage 6 before dying with the help of the bug ^^' | ||

Double Spoiler: 12.5 [ダブルスポイラー ～ 東方文花帖] Fairy Wars: 12.8 [妖精大戦争 ～ 東方三月精] as well as an OVA in japan has been made _based_ on Touhou [I hear it's "Musoukakyo: A Summer Day's Dream" but I'm in the process of confirming it, it's prob the tenchou one...not sure] | ||

Lost Viking on crack well actually Lost Viking is just watered down Touhou minus the moe yes. also, about Lost Viking, since my computer doesn't fulfill the minimum requirements really, it lags so bad (same with...well the normal game but yea...) Lost viking's level is more like easy-normal of Touhou imo... definitely not even CLOSE to lunatic (12.8's hard - lunatic is so hard X_X, revenge bullets.....>.<) | ||

In the meantime, I've been indulging myself in the music from the games, specifically the remixes. So far, I know of dBu, Dark PHOENiX, Ezel-Ash, and xi-on as arrangers, but are there any other circles with that sort of style? I've also been trying to find a circle that uses vocals that don't suck. Any recommendations? | ||

Any recommendations? try silver forest, eastnewsound, liz triangle, iron attack, crows claw those are kinda just general recommendations, let me know which ones you like out of them | ||

The only bullets you can't really stream come during boss fights, so when they come at you you can just stream them and they replenish your meter. edit: streaming being moving slowly to one side to graze aimed bullets | ||

Just gonna come in here and plug XL Project :3 Excellent house and trance music, and their vocalists are great. Check it out... you can listen to some of their albums here: http://www.youtube.com/xlprojectestha Also the vocal tracks in recent Cis-Trance albums are good listens if you like makina. Alice's Emotion also uses a lot of vocals in happy hardcore remixes... but generally the albums are horrible and only have 1-2 "good" songs, and these good songs usually don't use vocals (imo, of course) Some other good ones with vocalists that you might like: EastNewSound Halozy Sound Online Alstroemeria Records Similar sounds from all these circles. Expect a lot of house and trance. | ||

Better than any of the other remixes for "The Gensokyo the Gods Loved" I've ever heard. I need to look more into this "Yuuhei Satellite" group. | ||
