So is this MMD cup some sort of yearly competition? Since it's a vocaloid thing, is this competition "available" to more genres than just vocaloid then? Seems funny if so, that a touhou video won, lol. | ||

The competition is held twice a year (spring/summer). MMD is basically a 3D animations program so you can import w/e models you want and animate them however you like. As such, works don't have to be vocaloid-themed, and touhou have always been one of the top themes in all the entries.
