Even sans Zest this is going to be an incredibly exciting playoff run and championship. Just a shame that Zest is so far removed from those top 16 guys. Did you guys see Rogue after losing to Stats? He was really devastated. | ||

SSL premier is 10 of the top players in the game over 9 matches. No fluke there. Of course somebody would say that Zest's failure in these big tournaments has been so spectacular race should not matter but some Protoss have tried to make that argument. It's a weak argument. | ||

Neeb Overall-69% vs Protoss-70% vs Terran 68% vs Zerg 69% Hero Overall-63% Vs Protoss- 61% vs Terran-63% vs Zerg-66% Interesting that Hero's worst matchup is against Protoss but the numbers are very close all the way around. For Zest his win rate against Zerg and Terran are much worse than against Protoss. 67% against Protoss and 57% against the other 2 races. | ||

It's not his mechanics that are bad, he just looked clueless on how to play. He did archon drops in literally every PvZ game for months, he'd stay on adept phoenix for 20 minutes in PvT etc It does look like he's getting back into his groove recently though, with ridiculous online/ladder success. I think it's too early to call him a ladder-only hero as well, he only started dominating it this hard after HSC. He hasn't had any opportunities to qualify for tournaments since then | ||
