Dear could not take a map off the 2nd best foreign Protoss player. Then Dear was eliminated 2-0 in the decider match by Byun. The reason Dear had the misfortune of playing Byun in a decider match was because Byun lost to Showtime 2-0 also. So Showtime beat dear head to head and then beat a guy Dear lost to but Dear is better because he has played well the last 2 weeks? | ||

His group has not played yet in season 3, they play on the 20th. | ||

Your using a bo3 from 8 months ago on a different patch, to represent the current skill level? Remember when Pet beat Dark around that same time? I guess that means he's better right now obviously..... Dear is currently on a hot streak, taking out ByuN, Maru, Classic, and ByuL. How many koreans has Neeb beaten recently? Penguin and jjakji are litterally the only ones, not really impressive feats. | ||

Would you also say jjakji is currently a better player than INnoVation because he beat him in a bo3 in the SSL season 2 qualifiers last year? Do you have a more recent match between Showtime and Dear to judge them by? If they had played a match in HOTS it might not be applicable but the match in November was in a tournament for the world championship!!!! They only have one of those every year. How in the hell else would you evaluate them? So the Patriots won the super bowl but because they have not played in the last week they are no better than any other team? Again if you have more recent matches mention them. Saying a guy is on fire is lame. You could have said Zest was on fire after that Toronto win but what happened since? | ||

That is such a stupid comparison. Zest beat noregret, soul, and keen. Not a big deal. Dear has crushed ByuN, Maru, Classic, and ByuL. That's impressive. And a single bo3 from last year is irrelevent. Doesn't matter what tournament it was. Form has changed for both of them, metas have changed, patches have changed etc. Like I said before, would you say Pet is better than Dark because of the bo3 they played last year (that Pet won 2-0)? | ||

He won gsl season 1 of 2016 and was easily the best player for the first half of the year but then he started slumping in the 2nd half. He was better from November to February of this year but now since March he has been pretty awful. Hopefully he can turn it around. He did pretty well at the beginning as others said but he hit an all time low recently, playing horribly everytime he would show offline. He seems to be getting half decent results as of late, so maybe there is still hope. He's always quite high on KR ladder when he streams. | ||

Won round one on a bye, beat Penguin 2-0 and Hero 2-1. Then was basically embarrassed by Solar 3-0. PvP looks first rate but his PvZ was weak. Despite finishing 2nd he only made about $55. | ||

In game one he had a big air force with Carriers and Void rays but never attacked anything and allowed Solar to push his creep over 60% of the map and load up on spores. Once solar had lot's of Corrupters and some Broodlords he overpowered Zest. | ||
