I'm surprised by how well he defended the lings/banes all-in aggression. This may be a good sign for him at GSL given NoRegret will basically do that build + proxy hatch every single time. Of course, herO will face Dark again at GSL too.

When I saw Dark built the baneling nest super early, I was like "Oh no!"... The commentators complained that Dark played so strangely because he did lings/banes all-in twice. But I think Dark knew herO too well that he is very weak vs Zerg all-in so he played that style to kill herO quickly. Good defense. I hope he plays just like vs NoRegret and probably scouts early too. He should be good in GSL.

I'm glad to see herO has been working very hard on his defense. His defense vs WD drop and cloaked banshees is usually cringe-worthy but looks very good today. I truly hope he will be in form for the last couple events of the year AKA GSL, SSL, IEM and Super Tournament. Given he is the last place on Top 8 ranking and many players in contention are still very close behind him, he will need to advance far into those events. Keep up the good work, herO!

All matches were best of 3 except the final that Solar won over Zest 3-0.

1. This is not a super serious tournament, prize money has not even been worked out yet. 2. Based in Liquidpedia it is not a team match like nation wars it is individual. Just that there will be an equal balance of Korean and foreign players. Liquidpedia shows a 1st though 4th place. 3. The best players are already invited. Stats and Neeb for example as well as Innovation, Major, Serral, Nerchio, Soo, 4. You can vote for foreign players as well.

They just haven't announced how it'll be distributed yet On July 13 2017 21:13 Rolltide wrote: 2. Based in Liquidpedia it is not a team match like nation wars it is individual. In the meantime, I hope herO is practicing hard for GSL and IEM. I really want him to do well at those events as it is very important for him to earn more WCS points to keep himself in Top8. Gogo herO!!!!!

Maru is out is good news for herO but feel bad for Maru though. He is still in SSL, IEM and possibly ST 2 so he is out yet (technically he is still in at the moment #8). herO still has some strong competitors just right below him like Solar, ByuN, aLive and Classic. He will need to advance far in the remaining tournaments.
