I don't recall any terran doing particularly well in code S S2 though. Kinda sad that TY doesn't go, but we'll see him soon enough I guess. bad news for my man caster indeed but he still can go there and do cast things right ??

Depending if the Korean casters will be invited, he can cast the RO16 for sure.

Pretty good group he has for HSC - and so nice that he is going again. Three TvTs and a couple of other defeatable opponents, it should only be Serral that he really has to worry about. It will be interesting to see their match on the new patch. Hope TY is practicing on it. Last stream I saw he was just laddering on the normal patch though.
|
Nooo for fucks sake, he's not coming to HSC because of 'passport issues'
|
Just you wait until it turns out he didn't realize WESG qualifiers were going on and he misses them. Because from the turnout for the first qualifier I'm convinced most of the Korean scene is completely unaware.
|
Can't fucking believe it. You're a progamer that make a living from traveling around to tournaments. And you have no idea when your passport expires.
Yes he is definitely missing those qualifiers.
|
I'm sure the travel from his home to the Freec Up studio is entirely possible without his passport
And not just him, the turnout for Q1 was pathetic. Like absolute ghetto. To the point that Armani made it to stage 2. Not even Solar signed up.
|
Yeah, that is pretty crazy. On the other hand, the weird and complicated way WESG handles their tournament is kind of mind-boggling.

Solar played and lost as far as I know.

Hey sneakyfox if TY streams this week remind him to sign up for WESG, I'm always at work when he streams so I never get the chance
|
He he sure, I will. I have seen him Thursday and Friday but I'm afraid that if I go in there I'll start yelling at him over the passport thing.
PS. Working while there is a stream on, why no pashun?? :|
|
Did not catch him streaming but he did manage to sign himself up - along with the rest of the big names in Korean SC2. This one is going to be packed. A shame he didn't sign up for the other one which had Armani grab a spot.
|
All about bracket luck. Even the one Armani went through had good players. Most of them were on the side of the bracket Rogue qualified through, but Armani did beat Solar and PartinG.
If I'm looking at this bracket right TY actually has no decent opponent until the qualifying match where he probably has to play one of Dear/Stats/Solar.
Also Wardi is streaming the qualifier, that's pretty cool.
|
Dropped a map in his first match against either a player I never heard of or a player not using his actual ID to sign up, good start
|
Very cool that Wardi is streaming. It does however look like TY is facing Stats before the Q match.
E: Or maybe not? Bit confusing bracket layout.

I shall have faith.
Btw Wardi says he is going to do cast the replays of TY-TaeJa. Pretty sweet.

Yeah I think he wanted to be in 2 series at the same time so he can switch if one has downtime but he had some tech issue so he couldn't switch.
E: TY apparently down 1-2 vs TaeJa
