I'd love to see at least like 10~ more recent ZvPs from Scarlett before I really go crazy. ![]() But yeah, I did watch the games. I dont think me not saying my thoughts out loud to an audience really weakens my understanding that much. Also I super whole heartedly agree with you about the Hydras. Dont make those plz. T_T Edit: Edit response to edit gogogo. I dont think its fair to say popular opinion calls Idra bad. I think he could never win a game again and still have a loyal legion calling him the best player in the world. ![]() As long as he keeps giving Code S terrans a run for their money he certainly deserves his fans more than most

![]() Also, @vultdylan, I've been arguing for Scarlett but ladder rank is certainly not anywhere on my list of reasons why. >_> Edit: And yeah, Aocowns, I didnt mean to shit on Idra too much. He's really good !

IdrA isn't even top 25 GM in NA, while Scarlett has been top 10 GM for a while, not to mention IdrA hasn't beaten a pro of any major significance in a long while, so Scarlett at the moment looks much better than him. Ladder doesn't mean anything. IdrA 2-1'd SlayerSMin in EG:MCSL, 2-0'd MvP in Iron Squid, 2-1'd Inori in MLG Columbus, 2-1'd ThorZaiN in Iron Squid, 2-1'd SuperNoVa in IEM WC... all in the past month. edit: btw IdrA has a better ladder winrate over a larger number of games.

Let her enjoy IPL4, we can start bitching at her when she gets home, but let's be honest, if you were there, you'd be enjoying the show, not worrying about your twitter ![]()

You say it like NA ladder actually matters when comparing skill ;o It's useless to compare as Scarlett barely has played any games as of yet. You haven't really watched any of Idra's recent games, have you?

Even if Scarlett is good, we really need to sit back and have this conversation later down the road after she has had more success than a ladder rank and a few wins.

The point is how she did it, and the fact that she hasn't had much pro-level practice. If she got a good gaming rig (please don't try to say a MB is a good gaming rig), and steady, good practice partners, and coaching and all the other perks that pro players get, there's no telling how far she could go.

The only real difference is that the NFL community is able to discern the difference between a player that has established themselves as good and a player that has had 1 good performance. No one in the NFL community would even begin to say that Matt Flynn, a player that has barely been seen, is better than Aaron Rodgers. Even if Scarlett is good, we really need to sit back and have this conversation later down the road after she has had more success than a ladder rank and a few wins. Uhh, last I checked, Matt Flynn signed a $26m deal with the Seahawks and is going to be starting next season... So, your point is, uh...

That one performance doesn't mean he's good. Jamarcus Russell was a spectacular college quarterback at LSU and was drafted #1 overall in 2007 by the Raiders with a $61m contract. He did absolutely nothing for that franchise, he was a failure to say the least. Getting paid to play for a team does not mean that you are actually good. You are saying that the fact that Matt Flynn is getting paid $26m to play for a team that had a no name, injury prone quarterback means something significant. My analogy still stands because Matt Flynn can still be a bust.

You know, the best way for us to get a good feel of how good you are is for you to release some replays as soon as youre nice and settled at home. : )
