haha that was me ^_^
Dont be sad, i know no one in the community. Great sidekicking, it was worth it even though you lagged the games down and made me miss my classes today due to lack of sleep ^^
Oh my god yea.. been spending so many hours of my time to watch his stream.. hours which should've been used to study.. Best stream out there. And wait.. I get entertained and I'm supporting BW esports? Sign me up fast.
Sayle is my absolute favorite commentator. If all other commentators disappeared, and he took their places, amazingness. I swear he's like the clone of the Let's Player Toegoff. Really, the commentate exactly alike. He's, of course, my favorite Let's Player.
For reviving my interest in Brood War, Hurray for Sayle!
Was watching Sayle streaming yesterday when I noticed that Pro7ect is also streaming. So I kept listening to Sayle and watch the muted pro7ect's stream.
And Sayle got destroyed by a terran and kept on going "Terran- it's a pretty good race." all while watching pro7ect kill protoses. And the combination worked perversely good for me. So we would need Sayle to be gosu at terran, whooping ass and rejoicing of how wonderful the race he plays is.
Yeah, another great casting night <3 So many random funsies (like "ma jae yoon ma jae yon oohohoho" for stop lurkers^^). We do need more Disney music during breaks though.

Oh definitely. That was a crazy lategame PvZ and Sayle's lategame shined through.
I literally leave anything I am doing if I see Sayle streaming, the most laidback and funny commentator, and I dont have any clue of BW stuff and I still prefer Sayle's stream over any SC2 tournament/streamer.
Sign me up! Would like to say that, as a SC II player (And formerly AoE player) who had never really played BW online, you have greatly helped me in understanding the subtleties of each of the matchups in BW.

It's probably OSU. SAYLE FIGHTING ! Can't wait for his PL casts =)
Sayle is the man, my interest in all things BW increases with evrytime i check out your stream. Im curious how you would be casting SC2, not that you probably care abaut the game, but yeah...just throwing that out there:D

He is an extremely dedicated BW player and caster (very rare nowadays and just as for a doctor, availability is the most important value for a caster) with lots of love for the game. His wannabe korean shouting is adorable but unlike many other casters he won't try and get you to appreciate a dumb game, instead he'll say "What the fuck is this?". He cooperates with his audience via the chat all the time. Therefore it's more like watching a game with a friend rather than watching a professional commentator trying to entertain you for money. There's nothing that I hated more in SC2 streams than commentators getting fake-excited over a retarded game that's been decided 5 minutes ago, not gonna happen here. At the same time he's experienced in the game, capable of calling a lot of events in advance and explaining builds and stuff to beginners. Also he's asian, his voice is easy to listen to, the stream quality is superb and VODs are always up for the viewers. He also pretends he's eating grapes all the time so that you don't get freaked out when you tune in and hear him fapping on stream inbetween casts. I could go on..

I'm watching your Jan 14 SPL rebroadcast and saw you talk about how you wanted to look at TLPD to know more about players but that you didn't want to be spoilered. I just wrote a GreaseMonkey script for you that should prevent spoilers
it hides the records and the last 10 games at the bottom of every TLPD page, and it hides the last 2 days of games in the detailed results list. If there's anything else that needs to be spoilered then just PM me and I'll try and fix things. The script is GPL'd, so anyone who wants to can fix it.
You should probably test it first to make sure you won't get spoilered.
Does anyone have any of Sayles first casts saved up on their computer/link to VOD or so? I wasn´t around then (sailing with no internet) and would love to listen to the very first steps our champion took in the world of commentating.
Sayle if you'r reading this you are the best caster around you make me (non-BW) follow BW and your casting is so relaxed and cool, do you see yourself casting more (when sc2 takes over). You and Pokebunny are doing a great job covering the BW-sc2 tourny! Sayle 5/5!

Sign me up! Just recently started following Sayle since SC2 is now in proleague. Thats awesome and all, but what I didn't realize is how much I love BW. So, thanks Sayle for getting me into BW before its too late! Keep up the great work!
You know what the sad thing about this is ? It's that like Jaedong can just get like not be able to open a door on tv and yet he's still gonna get more girls than i will ever get. So..
Quoted from truth.
I think i already said it multiple times on your stream, and maybe even on this fanclub but i'm so, so much thankful to you for streaming all these broodwar games in english. I like to watch it in korean too because i'd like to learn it but i still don't get what they say at all so everytime my dong plays, i want to hear how good he is, and i can do that, thanks to you.
But really, you're a great commentator, I don't know broodwar much, I only played vanilla, medics/corsairs/dark archons are still weird to me but you make me understand what there is to see. You're not controlling the camera but still, you notice everything. Thanks again sir for all you did and all you'll do !
Went for Korean food after WCS UK with the London Barcraft guys and Sayle came along. He is a Pretty Cool Guy irl and was happy when I recognised him since this proves he is massively e-famous. Watched some of the PL casts when I got back and they were great ^__^ sign me up.
OMG Sayle, what a cast! You were on top of your game for this semi-final - as were the players. The last game of the series was amazing, and your commentary was giving me chills. You are awesome, sir.
And I can't believe pro BW is so close to its end, when it can still produce such great games and so much passion. I hope the last two series will be as good. And I hope you will cast them, Sayle!
Sayle is absolutely amazing, just amazing. I started casually researching and watching brood war when I started playing starcraft 2(my first rts) I passed out last night to him casting proleague and woke up for the start of game 4 this morning. He was still going like it was the first match in the proleague. I hope you keep doing this after broodwar is sadly gone. You are a tremendous asset to the community. sIGN ME UP
Sayle you are the most important "new" caster. I know you're not new to casting... I just mean once everyone else catches on to how good your casts are, you're going to get higher numbers than the rest.
At least I think so. Pretty soon you will have the largest fanclub on TL.
Today during the KT vs. STX match in proleague, Sayle made a comment about me and my father, and he was completely correct about my father, he had no idea about the game but brought his kid there, who is me.
On August 07 2012 11:50 Dont-Panic wrote: Haha, just discovered this. <3 Sayle. I can't watch Proleague live because of the time, so I watch it all on his youtube channel.
I even watch some of the games with friends and we came up with a little drinking game (it isn't very sophisticated but it does its job):
I was a really big fan of Sayle's casts during the last BW OSL and the hybrid proleague, and the Tarzan karaoke. since there's no official OGN english stream, maybe he can restream, or at least do audio-only casting please Sayle, consider doing some english casts for proleague!

No -.-
I am glad Sayle is back to casting GC I enjoy those a little bit more than TLS!
