He just played some customs with Inori, I'm sure he sometimes practices with them off stream as well. And laddering alone helps already, because the level of play is so much higher.

Hmm is it though? Even if it is, he already spent a whole week in order to reach GM meaning he will only have 1 week of korean GM ladder... Well I guess we'll see if he has improved in future tournaments.
Edit : ok he's only been there for 3-4 days but he has only 1 week left isn't he ?

It doesn't matter if or when he reached GM, the account had a high MMR already, so he played GM level players almost from the start. The league doesn't count, only MMR is important.

For the tenth time, you don't need to be in GM league to play GM players. Your MMR needs to be high enough. Besides, he also trains off stream with the TSL guys.
