I said that I saw a decline in his play prior to this tournament, and that this makes me worried about whether he's going into a slump. It's a legitimate worry given what he showed in the last two months. But then what he ended up showing is that he didn't work on ZvZ because he was working on ZvP. I still do think his ZvZ needs a lot of work, and that he has a lot of room for improvement in his mechanics. Imagine having enough larvae to spend all his resources after losing his army. Nobody is going to beat him then. | ||

Domination! I haven't posted here in a while, but I said a long time ago that the more Stephano plays the top tier Koreans the better he gets and the better he is at adjusting to their game. Just like with Polt, Stephano took time to find his stride.... and now with MC after losing more often that not, it appears that he has his number. If he gets his games in against DRG, MVP and Nestea..... he'll beat them too. He's just too talented.... he bleeds win. | ||

You know he wanted 200/200 during that remax, but wasn't able to hit it because he was larvae starved, which happened because he didn't make an extra hatchery when his resource income started spiking up. Fanboyism is not seeing that he made a mistake and supporting him whatever he does. There is a lot of room for improvement in his mechanics, but he wins because he has better engagements and decision making than other Zergs, including the bulk of Korean ones. With better mechanics, he is able to take that further and reach a level no other Zerg has reached before. | ||
