His zvp is consistant enough he does not need to train it that much. Even lack of practice mistakes are not big enough for him to lose vs mc/hero. The story is quite different for ZvT.
His ZvT is even better. maybe if you say ZvZ.
but i really think he doesnt lie about training. In the interview he say more than one time that he didn't have a PC in paris so he can't play, but he also say he THINK a lot about the game, about why he loose this match ect.. so even without training he can progress in strategy (not his mechanics ...)

Learn what trolling is before criticizing me. Whether fanboys want to listen to me is their business; I'm not deterred by people who are blinded by fanboyism, because I don't see that to be the way to be a fan.

People, people stop figthing and just enjoy the show. This is going to be a great day for Stephano just be happy and watch some good starcraft!

mvp loses in hsc, reaction in fanclub is like: terran weak atm, jetlag, wrist problems etc. after mkp's recent defeats pretty much the same, not to mention mc's fanclub atm when stephano is winning french wcs without dropping a single map people(azarkon) want to discuss his decline in skill, when he beats hero and mc people(still azarkon) want to discuss how bad he played in certain situations ->thank god stephano doesn't need encouragement from his fans cause he happens to get none

Go and tweet your support for Stephano. I have, as have the likes of Mana and Hasu, Apollo and other fans.
Azarkon is entitled to his opinion. However the responses in this thread have shown that his views are not the consensus. I don't see the point in a flame-war over the issue. Stephano has been proving bashers and doubters wrong for a year now. The results should speak for themselves.

Guys, even if he WINS this NASL, he can still lose some matches in the future. It's not safe to say he's not in a big slump right now, even though he beats code S players easily I can see his decline in-game.

Stephano doesn't need a confidence boost. He has that. What he needed was to sit down, practice, and get new builds and to improve his ZvZ. MVP and MKP have their fanboys, but they're not in the same situation. They don't need to sit down and practice. We know that they practice a huge amount of time and develop / are fed strategies by their teams.
Stephano is quite different. He loses when he underestimates his opponents and when he doesn't prepare and practice. Being drunk and losing, being late and getting a forfeit, and not practicing because he doesn't want to are his weaknesses, and that's what his fanclub needs to help him get away from. He's not in TSL 4 because of it and has forfeited tons of tournaments because nobody helped him show up.

What's impressive in your post Azarkon, is that, not only you know better than anybody what stephano need to do to win, but also you know what's is suppposed to be a Fanclub and what they need...
Since you seams to know everything about anything i may need some help in 3D shader coding, and to watch out for my kids. thanks in advance.
You where the one saying the world doesnt resolve around you to somebody before no ?
... Nothing to add, juge.

Yes, and us talking here will make Stephano care and change his whole personality.

I am a huge fan of Stephano but i totaly agree with what Azarkon is sayig: The incredible game sense and micro of Stephano makes him one of the best player in the world but you can see even in his stongest matchup (pvz) that he is very often suply block and dont have a great creep spread etc... Also Stephano is very lucky to not play vs Zerg in this tournament.
If he want to stay at the top, he have to work harder.

STEPHANO HWAITIIING! So hyped for the finals, Alicia is gonna wish he wasn't born at all ^^

I dont understand alot of people in here. Stephano is not the regulary player like most others and you people should realise this by now. Stephano will allways be Stephano. He will drink/party and generally dont give a shit about his practise regime. Yes in the future that lifestyle will hurt some of his tournament results and he will lose some key matches becuase of that. It has happend before and it will happend again
But if you can live with that sometimes you will also see the genius, the brilliance of Stephano´s huge talent and be amased by his play. Most of us are long time fans, and we know this. This is how it is to be a Stephano fan and no matter what people say Stephano wont change. I like this about Stephano he is not the normal sterotype gamer, he is a rock star, he is the charlie sheen of starcraft. And sometimes it hurts to watch him with a big hangover when he is about to play a semifinal in MLG. But sometimes you also get to see some of the most insane moments of brilliance and thats why I will allways be a Stephano fanboy!

The fanclub isn't going to make Stephano change, but it is able to make other people change in how they view him. I used to hype and praise him a lot, and still do when I think his play warrants it. But that's not what's needed these days. The hype train has done its job, and people are no longer calling him a fluke, but understand that he is one of the best players in the world. There's not a lot left to be done for hyping Stephano, beyond calling him the best player in the world, better than DRG, etc., and that to me is just setting him up for failure and opening the ground for haters.
There are a lot of other players who need the hype better than Stephano because they have skill but are not rewarded by the community for it. For Stephano, I think the best thing to do is to tune down the hype and to look at him objectively. That has a great effect on haters and those still trying to discredit him. Heck, Stephano wants his fans to tune down the overhype, which is why he keeps telling people that it's going to be very hard against HerO and MC, that he's the underdog, etc.
He wants the image of being a slacker who's the underdog against all of these practice monsters. A fanclub that doesn't call him out for not practicing isn't going to help with that.

Stephano is a dick.
Big fan.

Yeah, I agree, mechanically he isn't that great, DRG is much better in that sense. If Stephano wants to be at DRG's level or higher (which i don't doubt he COULD be) he needs to practice at least 4~8 hours every day like every pro does.

+1 Benjamin99
It's what i say too, stop believing he will be another "pro-gamer". it's Stephano.
nice Azrkon :
Stephano also wants his fans to tune down the overhype
You even know what stephano want. great !
I think he dont give a shit about his image in the "SC2 community", possibly he don't like that his mother / family see "drunk between cop" photos, yeah, sure, Me too.
But I agree with you 100000 % azarkon : "There are a lot of other players who need the hype better than Stephano because they have skill but are not rewarded by the community for it."
Yes ! you right ! go create them a Fanclub and tel everyone how great they are ! plz !

MVP doesn't practice a lot, MKP does, not MVP.

NesTea said at IPL4 that he doesn't practice that much, same for Stephano, and DRG aswell, you guys have that stereotype, progamers all practice like 5-6 hours a day, but it's not true. Most of them do but some prefer not to play all day long.
