1, 2, as units

and 4 as all hatcheries.

I had a funny moment watching one of his replays, and/or a replay from slivko without paying any attention to the name and thinking why I had gotten so good at this game in the span of a day. (I happen to use the same groupings too). Then I hit the observer tab and I became a sad sad panda. (I still suck)

I think that I face Kenzy. I didn't watch the entire bracket. It's just Lewellys who told me I was to face Kenzy, and after the winner between Tarson and Bling. Kenzy, I cannot bear to play ZvZ. It's really, as said Bling for PvP, random. I really hoped I would face someone else. Anyone else, Bling, Grubby, or any other among the best of the tournament. But when it comes to ZvZ, it is pretty boring/retarded. I could lose in the first round, this is what scares me. After that, if I can go through that round, I am almost sure to go into the finals, and the win.

I would say Grubby. Bling and Tarson. But one of them is doomed to be eliminated immediately. There is also Sarens. I don't really know how he trained recently. I faced him during the egg-one finals. I don't really know his level for the other matchups so I can't tell you if he deserves a seed or not.

Ok. So you were talking about the first edition, in which you were eliminated by Adelscott if I remember correctly. He is not in the same part of the bracket as you, so it could be in a second part. You probably trained a lot together in the gaming house. I don't really know how much you trained together. Is it a match you are especially afraid of ?

If i meet Adelscott, he does not scare me at all. I recently trained a lot against protoss with Adel, Mana and Bling. 90% of my training is against protoss. I have probably the best ZvP in Europe for sure, as for the world, I can't say that. So I'm really not afraid of facing a protoss.

Ok, so can you tell us why you train so much in ZvP ? It is not the race you face most in tournaments.

It is the matchup I enjoy most. It is not random at all. If you do things properly, everything goes nicely. So I seldom lose. Since I always do the same.

Exactly !

But, there are players who practice most the matchup in which they feel the less confident.

Yeah, I don't master ZvZ at all and I never train it because I don't like it. I play for fun, always !

Thanks for translating. So, he doesn't train his zvz and it's, in terms of winning percentage, his second best matchup at this point and I'd say that he's definitely top 5 in the world at it. Ridiculous.

Well he went 2-2 at Blizzard Cup. I can´t think of many foreigners who would not have been crushed just like that...

He's actually being really modest. I don't know how anyone could honestly believe he doesn't have the best zvp in the foreign scene (rather than just "in Europe"). Since Stephano has struggled against MC and some other Korean Protosses -- Squirtle 5-0'd him I think -- I can't say he has the best zvp in the world. He has room for improvement, but I can't name 5 Koreans with better zvp -- maybe Coca (whose play is at who knows what level now), DRG, Nestea and Curious (maybe).

Well his losses against Squirtle were at the end of his trip in Korea where he started to get bored and eager to come back in Europe, and before his big training with Bling / Mana / Adelscott. So, the story may be different now...

I'm eager to see how he will do at the Ironsquid and the Assembly, if he performs well he could be the beginning of a new era If Assembly should be manageable at start (2 protoss in pool), Ironsquid will be another story, with 2 monster terrans (MMA & Jjakji) and his ZvT being a bit sloppy lately.

Well, no, of foreigners he'd need to compare himself to Sen who is a beast at ZvP (beating Naniwa, losing to MC 3-2, etc). In Korea you forgot about Leenock (who isn't famous for vP in Korea, but he is capable of beating anyone, including MC) and Losira who is brilliant at ZvP. Lucky also has many good wins against P. So I guess you could make that list longer even on subjective grounds.So, best in Europe sounds about right.

I think he needs to train his ZvT, because korean terrans play so much better and different than eu terrans that stephano can beat easily.
Favorite players: Stephano, Mana, Polt, Lucifron, Nerchio

I would easily say that Stephano is the best foreign Zerg/top 10 Zerg in the world. Not sure about best foreigner overall though. Every foreigner seems to go through a dominant streak compared to other foreigners every since the game started.

Well all we can really do is look at right now, and I'd definitely argue Stephano for best foreigner. I suppose his main competitors are Huk, Naniwa, and Sen ? Then there's of course countless people who can take games or even series' off him like Thorzain, Mana etc etc but I do think Stephano is overall best foreigner right now.
