That's his chance to finally prove that he can win against the very top koreans again! It just makes me a little sad that he only has korean terrans in his groups since that is arguably his worst matchup.

I think Life plays Zerg. But yeah it's gonna be quite the challenge to play against no other than the last two GSL champions

I agree its tough, but that's just the type of challenge one needs to become the best! Especially since that's his perceived weakness.
A KR terran practice partner might be nice, someone aware of the current tricks T's have going on in KR. MMA and Jjakji will be a great test, I hope its bo3.

/!\ Maybe an "Ironsquid spoiler" /!\ DON'T OPEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED
+ Show Spoiler +So seeing that crazy lineup for the Ironsquid, I was wondering if the games had already been played or not. Knowing the map pool and that they had to be played on NA server, I quickly checked Stephano's US account (http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/2808471/1/MillStephano/matches#reset). And there are indeed a bunch of custom games from 1/30/2012 which seem to be relevant ! As I don't have any NA account, I can't check the opponents he played. Could someone who has one tell me ? The results seem pretty good anyway, but maybe it's completely off topic

ah yeah, life is zerg but since he is relatively unknown stephano can just lose reputation against him ->if he wins people will say that this proves nothing and if he loses everybody will talk about how inconsistent stephano is TT

There already are maps (don't remember their names) where every game ends as a draw when you look at it in player's history, and you can't check the stats.

Cloaked maps is what they're called.

I think he can take Jjakji, the guy is in quite the slump.
|
Yes, but when he streamed his korean ladderun, he got crushed by Jjakji. Jjakji was one of the korean that impressed him the most if i remember correctly. Let's hope he'll find a solution.

He seems to have disappeared since LDLC last sunday, I don't know if he has played since. Or maybe he prepares Assembly on some smurf account ?

I think he is still in Paris. He tweeted something about that a couple days ago.

He won't be able to stream until he is back at the Millenium Gaming House, after the Assembly.
