I was just talking about misconceptions I could see people getting about him in general, due to his aggression -> expand playstyle. He could have been all-in against Byun - I'd have to watch and form my own opinion. | ||

Yes, the 3 gate + stargate attack must do some damage in order to even the players' economies out. However, since it's pretty much guaranteed to do a ton of damage if the Terran expanded (by forcing Byun to keep his SCV's in a defensive position, not mining), is it really an all-in? Do we classify banshee openings in TvT as all-ins? Because they're essentially the same thing - yes, the banshee must get a ton of kills to even things out, but they pretty much always do. I'd argue that we'd need a better understanding of the game (the limitations of each race's builds) in order to make this call, but for now I'd disagree with calling his play all-in. Also, noticed HolyArrow said he hadn't seen the games yet... damn, you're in for a treat. | ||

I never actually realized, until now, how poorly toss were doing this tournament. It'd be so epic now if he just took this tournament - even when Fruitdealer won (during the Zerg dark age), 2 Zerg made it out to the RO16. Hoping for a SlayerS final with Alicia coming out on top! | ||

Honestly this guy is pretty sick. Alicia is straight up scary with his early game army, especially in PvT. He's either busting up your ramp (like against MVP or Byun) or he's just dancing around your army picking it apart (like against MKP). All-ins or not, I think Alicia is just a really unique and hard-to-face player. He's kind of like the Protoss version of MKP, where he's really dictating the tempo of the match. I'm a fan for sure. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + with Nestea out the semifinals is going to be a whole lot easier. All he needs to do is practice his (already godly) PvT, and the championship is his. Would be unbelievably epic if he manages to pull it off... edit: Also, the games today were too close for my liking. Alicia, please crush em decisively from here on out ~ | ||
