Oh, Alicia Need some better PvZ man! I was so sad when he lost to CoCa twice. Though, honestly, I can only name 2 players with PvZ that actually seems reliable right now: Huk and MC. And even then, they're pretty shaky, not exactly beasts in the matchup lately. I thought HongUn was pretty good at it but it seems that the metagame has left him behind as well. Seems like PvZ is the Achille's heel for many a Toss right now overall - Alicia, Genius, and Inca, to name a few.
Hope Alicia can improve it in the future - it's his one weakness!

MC is the only reliable toss out there I'm afraid. Even when MC slumps, you know that he's still an absolute beast when he's in form. Alicia's PVZ looks terribad, and losing 3-0 to Polt in lopsided games was depressing as well. I really want another protoss to step up, but the only reliable one is MC

I think the nasl tourney page was wrong, and alicia actually won, he plays mkp next, hopefully he can make that 2-0 record against mkp a 4-0, 4 more rounds to go alicia!

Really? It would be awesome if Alicia was in the NASL. I was reading the Open tournament thread and it seems like some people actually watched the match he lost though, and were making comments on it...

Hey Mr. Olympic I didn't knew you were a pervert :o About the name... I mean there are more than one player naming themselves like girls, it's not as bad as it is in bw though.

The choosen one to mlg :D

After his 3-0 loss to Polt, and early exit out of the Code S tournament, MLG will be a great place for Alicia to show off why he's one of the top Protoss out there. I sort of find it funny how little attention he gets, not only considering how amazing he is, but how inspiring his PvT style is.
He'll definitely be the best Protoss at MLG. The main threat I see will be DRG, who happens to be somewhat weak to Protoss, so it could be worse (if say, Nestea or Losira were there). Sen (if he comes) and Idra could pose reasonable threats, too, their ZvP is quite good.
Then there's the (amazing) Korean terran, but none of them play as abusive as Polt does, so I think Alicia has the advantage on them. Either way, all of these threats will be in the Pool, so he should have a clear path to get through.
As long as he gets to the Championship Pool and shows great games, I'll be happy!

might wanna add this: Equipment Mouse: Razer Deathadder Keyboard: Razer Marauder

alicia loses to a 215 seed 2-0 in the open bracket
3 pvp
|
Hope he blazes through the losers bracket to get to the main one! No shame in losing to ToD.
|
Is there a losers bracket in the open tournament? :/ I REALLY wanna see him in MLG
|
The seed of his opponent is stupid, it's tod a very good player who represent the france to WCG and a legendary of warcraft III, i think it's ridiculmous that wasn't a seed player.
|
Yep, there's a loser's bracket. Apparently he'll have to win 9 Bo3s tomorrow in a row, but he's definitely good enough to do it.
