Queen change only had as big an impact as it did because Terrans were doing the same things over and over again (forced hellion plays) and were not adapting. When they did adapt the winrates went back to 50%. It was the metagame change into infestor heavy play that was killing Terran in the fall. 2. I believe he was being sarcastic or purposely over the top. 3. If you are going to use a fan club to tell the creator of the fanclub they are wrong then at least use proper grammar/spelling. | ||

If you are going to use a fan club to tell the creator of the fanclub they are wrong then at least use proper grammar/spelling. queen and overlord buff together changed the matchup very significantly because they came out after 2 years of WoL where everyone had refined builds and tvz was considered an even matchup by everyone. for pro gamers those small buffs changed everything, the best opener became unviable and zerg got "free ticket" to 3 base 80 drones and caused indirectly the explosion of gay gglord infestor style due to safer 4 and 6 queen openings and mass creep spread. zvp remained almost unchanged so the difference was very noticeable in tvz, and terran winrates are bad in tvz since then and we have bad zergs beating very good terrans all the time and every terran that wins a good tvz is considered a hero in that sense yeah zerg is not at all worse than terran in wol, the difference is that hots builds are not refined at all so zergies have no idea about timings and correct reactions. side note, I think the changes in the races are really uneven because zerg got almost only late game units and buffs and terran got 2 ridiculously good early-mid game units, that is more than stupid, even if late game zerg combos are very powerful their early game remained unchanged and terran/p just received a gazillion of new cheese and pressure options. stupid as hell every race should have gotten some kind of early/mid/late game unit and some new spells/upgrades, instead of this P received retarded early and late game compositions, terran received only retarded early game compositions, and zerg received only retarded late game compositions. /rant | ||
