SlayerS_Cella best coach out there? Alicia 3-0ed his Code S group, with NaDa and MKP....nuff said
SlayerS_Alicia The awesome Protoss of the SlayerS team, beat NesTEA and Losira in GSTL, 3-0ed his group by beating NaDa, MarineKingPrime and Zenio in Code S

haha thanks ^^ with a little luck, if we shift our 'fan' focus off of individual players and onto teams, we'll get more team events. I urge any fan of a team to make a fanclub thread be it for oGs, Liquid, EG or ROOT or any other team. Show more love for the teams!
Add me please. One typo that I caught: Alicia's group had NaDa, MKP, and Zenio, not LosirA (your caption under Alicia's picture says LosirA was the Z in the group)
Ever since Alicia vs Noblesse (GSL Mar, Code A), I've been following them all closely - Alicia's PvT is just an art, a beauty to watch. MMA & Ryung are among the most solid Terran in the world. Haven't got to see much from the rest of the team, but Min has definitely shown Code S potential.
Not to mention Cella & freakin BoxeR, of course...
Can't wait for the next GSTL! Funny how nobody saw them winning the last one, I knew they had a shot (even though they hardly used Alicia)
Yeah I think the pressure got to MMA. That and Huk had a sizable advantage knowing the maps and the matchup (he still won fair and square though).
Feel so bad for MMA. Huk's ceremony was not for humiliation, but it had to hurt to see that. MMA is still a beast though, he'll be in Code S eventually. Ryung too.

It's like Boxer has a magic pouch of Terran Awesome he pulls and sprinkles on these players.
My personal favorite to win this GSTL. IMO, they're one of the groups of players that really play better as a team then they do individually. The also seem to 'get' the format really well.

Well, TaeJa wasn't completely unknown. He played in GSL1 and got knocked out early then never qualified again. He also qualified for the LG Cinema tournament in Korea that's going on.
I request a GIF or picture of BoxeR holding the GSTL trophy up! also, any pictures of SKT1 hoisting a PL trophy would be nice, for perspective on the awesomeness that is BoxeR
after watching super tournament and gstl understood that I'm Slayers fan!! it's so bad MMA plays Ganzi in ro16, wanted to see them in final or semifinals)))
Today's games were awesome!! Especially MMA,I just can't understand how he won after so much harrass(maybe in second game it was supernova's mistake to continue making banshees),but this is ridiculous.Have to re-watch games. sign me up!!! and Min > Genius. Slayers fighting! Boxer :-*
Isn't Ganzi missing in the list of players? Anyways, Slayers doing incredibly well in the Super Tournament. Does anybody know whether there is some bracket graphic so we can easily see who is still remaining inside the tournament?

Ah thanks. The latest results haven't been included yet, but it's fair enough. So...
4 out of 8 players that are known to be in the ro16 are from Slayers! (Ganzi, MMA, Ryung, Min)
1 more player from Slayers still awaits his match (Alicia) In his game against Byun, after defeating MC, I'd say he's the favourite, but Byun isn't bad at all, definitely still an open game.
2 players from Slayers so far have been eliminated (Yugioh and Boxer).
All in all, a very pleasant statistic to behold, I'd say. Not sure whether I should root for Alicia or Byun, I still feel kind of sorry for him that the korean casters made a joke out of cencoring his name...
u mention jys i never saw but forget allkill Taeja in the noteable players ? also GanZi and yugioh better then jys ^^ ok i guess u can mention everyone so its fine the way you did it also i am sure legalmind is out of slayers
Boxer isn't really dominant in SC2 but he inspires his team. I hope the team helps Boxer develop his skills so they all can grow stronger together. MMA is a baller captain.
Boxer is actually quite good still, he's maybe not among the people you'd expect to win individual leagues, but he's quite solid nonetheless (and a better player than his latest results on the Korean scene show).
Anyways, it's been a good day. The team is slowly rising to the top where they belong. =)
I was nervous about Boxer coming to sc2 and then the success of Slayers as a team with raw talents from ladder only but they are looking pretty good now.

if MMA wins the grand tournament i think they can start to be considered the best team out there at least considering the recent results

If MMA wins the team are literally champions of EVERYTHING (GSTL, MLG, GSL).
Too bad we don't have anyone at Dreamhack to take Europe as well. =(
Wouldn't it also be a good idea to add the twitters of the members to the OP? I got: @SlayersCella @SlayerSAlicia @SlayerS_Jessica (Ga-Yeon) @SlayerSMMA @SlayerSRyung
Hello, I was just reading SlayerS_Jessica's post about recent troubles.
I didn't see Eve's name in the OP list of SlayerS members. Any chance we could get her added in? It would show support to both the SlayerS team's choice and female progamers in general. Perhaps it would also give Jessica motivation to let us see some of Eve's games/replays?
I don't have many posts to my name so I didn't want to start a Slayers_Eve fanclub myself or anything, I'll leave that to the more experienced members on this forum. And please sign me up for this fanclub, I particularly love the playstyles of Boxer and MMA.

It looks like they added her to the roster, but they linked her to someone else with the name eve.
Never saw this fanclub, i don't apply to them usually (exept for Ret's one, because i love Ret. You got to love Ret) but i love SlayerS. You got to love SlayerS.
Just as MMA fell into the pits of Code B, he (in a strangely austrain accent) said: "ILL BE BACK!"
And back he will be. I think that was grammaticaly correct. Anyway, I'm not sure but I think it's very likely he'll get a free Code S spot from MLG. I dunno's, I think it MIGHT come down to a match with him and Boxer, which would be beyond amazing and epic.
Just watched Ryung's game against Alive, and again amazed at how far ahead the entire SlayerS team's TvT is over everyone else's. They completely dominate their opponents, it's a beauty to watch.
Between last season's GSL and their GSTL results I was a bit worried for them, but it's almost like after MLG they've decided to rip everything up. Glad to see it! (now only if Alicia can join that party...)
In order for SlayerS to reach the playoffs of GSTL season 1, the stars must align. F. United must beat Prime, but not oGs, SlayerS or TSL. TSL is already 3-0 and a win for F. United will spread the wealth of 3+ win teams, which does not benefit SlayerS. Similarly, MVP must also win as much as possible since they are already 2-1. If both end 4-1, or 5-0 TSL and 3-2 MVP (they play each other soon), that leaves the largest possibility of a 2-3 record third place finisher.
If there are two teams (TSL and MVP) that go 4-1 each or a combined 8-2, that leaves 7 wins and 13 losses for the rest of the teams (15-15 for all 6 teams on the season). The remaining four teams could have a 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, and 1-4 record and thus third place would go to a 2-3 team who has the tiebreaker.
Since oGs and Prime are already 1-2, they can theoretically finish 2-3 on the season, with oGs beating F. United and losing to SlayerS, and with Prime beating F. United and losing to MVP. Since SlayerS and TSL also play F. United, that leaves them high and dry at 1-4 if the SlayerS conditions for entering the playoffs are met. Otherwise, F. United could beat Prime and lose to SlayerS, finishing 2-3 while Prime finishes 1-4. This is also acceptable and also negates any tiebreaker situation between Prime and SlayerS. Since SlayerS would theoretically beat oGs and F. United, they'd hold a tiebreaker there too.
The chances are extremely low, but it's still possible. The final scores could be something like this:
4-1 TSL (only loss to MVP) 4-1 MVP (only loss to F. United) 2-3 SlayerS (winning next 2 against F. United and oGs) 2-3 oGs (winning against F. United, losing to SlayerS) 2-3 F. United (losing to SlayerS, oGs, & TSL; winning vs Prime) ** 1-4 Prime (losing both remaining matches) **
** Swappable via their match vs each other but I prefer it this way
The Prime/F. United match is the only one that doesn't matter if everything else happens and head to head tiebreakers don't matter. In that case, SlayerS definitely needs more points via 4-1 victories or all-kills. I'm not sure if tiebreakers (head to head results) matter, but if they ignore those and go by points instead, then SlayerS also needs to pull off some All Kills, or something close, just to be sure.
Edit: there are a few other ways it could play out, but the bottom line is that if the top two teams end 3-2 (most likely MVP and TSL), that's really bad as the 3rd place is almost certainly also finishing 3-2 (unbeatable by SlayerS at this point) unless SlayerS finishes 1-4 or 0-5, which is entirely out of the calculations for them getting into the playoffs.

Hey, one can hope.
By God, that is highly unlikely but my fingers are crossed all the same @_@

The numbers in parenthesis are their W/L sums. They are based on the current rankings, but if in the scenario a team wins a match they get +1 and if they lose they get -1. This is because in the worst case winning scenario you go 4-3 and still gain 1 point, and the best case losing scenario you go 3-4 and lose 1 point. Since the scenario is based on an assumed win or loss this works.
In this scenario FU would require an extremely good W/L to take 3rd, not likely considering they were just all killed. oGs is a bit more likely, but -3 and -4 are huge deficits right now.
If FU beats both Prime and oGs FU moves on with a 3-2 Record. Essentially FU and oGs are the only teams that can still hit 3 wins. It isn't unlikely that SlayerS move on. The stars don't need to align. MVP and TSL just need to keep winning, SlayerS has to beat oGs and FU can't hit 3 wins.
Bottom Line: For SlayerS to move on they MUST beat oGs and FU CAN NOT reach 3 wins, but if they beat oGs they have the best shot of anyone.

If F. United beats Prime but loses to TSL: Slayers would win a three way tie vs OGS and F. United based on head to head.
If F. United loses to TSL and Prime: Slayers would win a three way tie vs OGS and Prime b/c: At best, OGS can get 0 point differential (by all-killing F.U. and losing 4-3 vs Slayers) At best, Prime can get -1 point differential (by all-killing F.U.). At worst, Slayers would have 0 point differential (if they win 4-3 vs OGS). So OGS and Slayers would have the point tie-breaker over Prime, and Slayers would have the head to head tie-breaker over OGS.
If F. United beats TSL but loses to Prime: Slayers would win a four way tie vs OGS, Prime and F. United b/c: At best F. United can get -1 point differential (by all killing TSL and losing 4-3 vs OGS and Prime). At best, OGS can get 0 point differential (by all-killing F.U. and losing 4-3 vs Slayers) At best, Prime can get -1 point differential (by all-killing F.U.). At worst, Slayers would have 0 point differential (if they win 4-3 vs OGS). Again Slayers has the point tie-breaker over Prime and F.U. and the head to head vs OGS (and F.U. as well).
Scenario #2 - Slayers beats OGS - F. United beats OGS - F. United loses to TSL and Prime
Slayers would be in a three way tie with F. United and Prime. But Slayers would win on points b/c: At worst Slayers has 0 point differential (by winning 4-3 vs OGS) At best F. United can get -1 point differential (by all-killing OGS and losing 4-3 vs TSL and Prime) At best Prime can get -1 point differential (by all-killing F. United)
- Slayers needs to beat OGS. - F.United has to go 0-3 or 1-2 vs TSL, OGS and Prime. - Match scores don't matter. All the tie-breakers will fall into place if these two things happen.
So basically next Thursday is the single most important match of the team league. oGs and TSl will in all likelihood beat FU, so oGs vs SlayerS will determine who goes to the playoffs.
If you love SlayerS be sure to support them and tune in to oGs vs SlayerS Thursday!
Can someone link the site to where you can buy the Slayers Jersey? It was on a Korean site and its not Starcraftmecca.com its something else, I can't find the thread anywhere!
6 players if Taeja and Alicia get through the up/down matches. 7 players if the rumor about Puzzle going to Slayers also turns out to be correct. Slayers looking good despite getting bounced from the team league.
With how things have been going it looks like Code S is gonna have to be renamed to Code Slayers.. More and more of them keep showing up into Code S each season
So, I've discussed the following privately among several of my close friends, colleagues, and a number of prominent (anonymous) starcraft 2 professionals. But as a SlayerS fan I couldn't help but notice the following: SlayerS is currently dominating MKP's career!
Please, consider the following:
[It begins in May, but becomes a bit more noticeable after the super tournament]
GSL May - SlayerS_Alicia puts MKP into Up and Down matches, and MMA (barely, and should not have) loses to MKP.
GSL Super Tournament - MKP was "favored" or "expected" to win the super tournament after the dust settles, and the semi-finals have been set. MMA, in brilliant fashion, comes back from 0-2 to crush MKP 3-2 crushing MKP's dreams once again.
GSL July - MKP declares that he will win a tournament and reclaim the optimus name he called shot on. However, yet again, SlayerS_Alicia puts MKP into Up and Down matches from the get go, and in Up and Down matches MKP's final hopes are once again dashed by a SlayerS player: Ryung. MKP wasn't quite out of it until Ryung decided to just go into beastmode and simply 4-0 his up and down group.
GSL August - For some hideous reason MKP managed to beat SlayerS_YuGiOh (possible choke?), and, despite having a fortunate draw and shaky play, squeaks by and pushes onward to the final. His final opponent standing before him and his Code S spot is none other than SlayerS_GanZi, and he has once again put MKP in his place.
I'm not an MKP fan (nor anti-fan) in all honesty, and I genuinely love watching SlayerS players succeed, but I find the track record rather amusing ;D
TaeJa is in Up and Down as well, and I'd love to see him move on, and if he beats MKP to do it well that will only make it all the more amusing :x!

Has there been much published about Coach Ryu Won? There is almost no information I can find on him, but to me, he seems to be the reason why there are now seven SlayerS in the latest Code S and he appears to be the ultimate mastermind of MMA's recent GSL victory.
Ever since he has appeared on the SlayerS stage, the majority of players have been thanking the coach; he is held in high regard - when MMA was sent to Anaheim, they sent him with him (above BoxeR or Coach Cella), and you can see him very often busy with tactics and strategies in the background.
Is he well known on the Korean scene or is he one of those mysterious people no-one knows anything about? Anyway, I think he is doing an amazing job, and should be recognized.
At this point, Slayers is arguably the strongest team on the SC2 scene, winning the GSTL 2 times and fielding the most Code S players, and winning the most recent GSL. I hope that the EG partnership allows more Slayers players travel to non-Korean tournaments, since most members on the team could do very well outside of Korea and deserve a chance for cash and glory that doesnt involve working through code B and A. Go Slayers!

j/k, I <3 MKP but that kind of record is nothing short of hilarious
Please add MMA's GSL win from Code S October in the OP! This is big for the team as well, is actually the first win of Code S of a SlayerS player S. Ryung helped him practise for the finals.
Hey Slayers, I am here to make a plead for Coca. Please do not be too harsh on Coca's punishment. Yes, what he did was wrong but that's a mistake he'll never make again. I hope to see more of his game and hopefully we can all forget about it by next year. Coca is still very young so don't be too cruel.
Any news on Coca? is there any chanse he can come back? he is such an awesome Zerg I really think the team would benefit of having a solid Zerg like him on the team.
Don't let a loss to Mouz keep you back, go and win the IPL TAC nevertheless!
Now that EG has players inside the Slayers house, I hope they do another inside the Slayers lair video. Or better yet, videos showing the guys just chilling or what not.
When I first saw Team Liquid rush the stage when Hero won Dreamhack, I was impressed. But when Slayers rushed the stage when MMA won the Blizzard Cup, holy shit. The group toss was insane, and Ryung was popping champagne and giving MMA a champagne shower. Nothing against Liquid, but what a celebration from Slayers. Best team ever.
This is not the new house tour. It was mentioned in the video description:
"CSN takes one last look at the SlayerS house in Singil (where Evil Geniuses players HuK, IdrA, and PuMa are practicing) before Jessica and BoxeR move their team to a larger venue!"

I think he is already in the new slayers house. He said on twitter that "Greg Practice a lot, but ... It is impractical T.T" week ago, so he is in the house and see what idra is doing or he is playing with him a lot or... other members say it or idk. Just speculation ^^

hopefully it does mean that coca is back, his punishment has been long enough ^_^

They look all so happy btw, boys joking around, jessica hagging eve, like a big family. xPP
Hopefully we can get to watch a version of what they filmed tonight. The lack of audio is killing me.
It sounds serious but I don't understand the implications. She's saying that whoever was running the Slayers Twitter and Facebook has deceived them... but how? Is he ransoming control? I don't understand.
Maybe a fan they trust, maybe someone they've hired. All those pages do is update on scores and things that fans would be interested in. Whoever it is, they write very good English.
Disappointing to see Taeja and Ganzi leave the team, but people need to realize that Slayers is not falling apart. They still have 3 Code S players, and with guys like Coca back on the lineup, Slayers is still the top team out there! Go Slayers and good luck to Taeja and Ganzi in their future.
Thatone is massively lagging for me, not sure if it's on my end though but it's pretty damn cool for sure. =) Jessica just posted the youtube version on twitter aswell.
Does anyone know who SlayerS_Scar is? I watched some of his older stream and he seems to be pretty good. From what little I gathered, he seems to be a former BW player but that's about it.

According to Liquipedia, he left Slayers to join Dream Team Gaming (dtG) this past March. Unfortunately, I can't add much more to what little info we have.
Well, it's been a bumpy past couple of weeks. Slayers definitely didn't have the best results in the Up and Downs, Taeja and Ganzi left, the team was eliminated in the GSTL way too early, and all 3 Code S players were eliminated in the Ro32.
My fellow Slayers fans, do not lose hope, do not waver. These setbacks are merely temporary, and this is a team that I know will come back stronger than ever. There is only one team who has won 2 GSTL titles, and that is Slayers. There is only one team that is led by the one and only Slayers Boxer, the Emperor himself.
But even in this trying times I do not despair. Watching these guys play brings joy to me, and for this I shall be a Slayers fan forever. These guys defied expectations a year ago to go from the dark horse to become the most celebrated GSTL team of 2011, and they will bounce back.
Yup it's been a rough couple of weeks for a Slayers fan.
At least there's still Code A. There's a crap load of slayers fighting it out in Code A. And a couple guys made it into the NASL, so maybe someone besides MMA can get a taste of that foreign money.

Impressive showing from SlayerS at the 2012 SC2 OSL: Non-KeSPA Preliminaries. (Hope I didn't miss any.)

MMA - Group A: Semi Finals Clide - Group B: Round of 16 KDY - Group B: Round of 16 Alicia - Group C: Semi Finals Dark - Group C: Semi Finals Brown - Group D: Quarter Finals Cella - Group D: Round of 16 Min - Group E: Finals Ryung - Group F: Semi Finals YuGiOh - Group G: Finals Miya - Group H: Quarter Finals CoCa - Group I: Finals Arthur - Group J: Semi Finals Puzzle - Group K: Finals Crank - Group L: Quarter Finals
Gratz miya for qualifying to WCS South Korea nationals ! :D I'm really happy for him, i've been following him for quite a while, i'm glad to see he's in good shape How come he doesn't have a fanclub on teamliquid yet ? Edit : mybad there's one already
Coca/puzzle/yugiho also got their tickets to WCS South Korea nationals, it's gonna be epic :D
Hmm, I wonder if Alicia's Kong curse has affected the entire team now. The team is showing early symptoms, but I'm going to wait to see the IPL TAC results before making a conclusive diagnosis.
You know, it's been a pretty shitty past week for Slayers, with 3 consecutive teamleague losses. Still, we were the only team to make top 3/4 in both the GSTL and IPL TAC. That's a very respectable result.
OK so maybe I'm reading too much into this, but the @slayersclan twitter (who I don't think is official but is still recognized as being the closest to representing them) just tweeted *sigh* followed by 끝 which google translates into "end" or "the end".
Optimistically, could this mean the end of that dude representing slayers on twitter?
Realistically, well I think its obvious... is this a sign of slayers disbanding?
Genna Bain just talked on CranKs Twitch Chat about SlayerS folding in November because of contracts running out but as it seems nothing is official. Some dude in Chat said Slasher had mentioned smth like that too ...
"Team SlayerS @slayersclan No No No! This account is not SlayerS official! Please don't be scared - Official SlayerS is @SlayerS_Jessica ! What have i done? TT Sorry!"
Does anyone know who SlayerS_`MasteR` is? That's not a progamer I could find?
He apparently made the following hype video (also linked in OP) around the time when BoxeR's and Min's NASL applications were recorded (March 2011, also hosted on same channel) and he appears in it as well:
