I still remember the game where I became your fan. It was a game on turtle rock when witch doctors were still used vs. human. You were fighting a seeming losing battle with your tauren chieftain deep in the red. He was so close to level 6 that when he fell I was not sure if you were able to pick resurrection or not. In a seeming retreat, you threw down a stasis trap and withdrew your battered army. However, you stopped mid retreat taking seemingly needless losses. It was at that moment your chieftain revived and threw down a terrible shockwave in the midst of your enemies caster line. No sooner did the chieftain deal his first wave of damage but the stasis trap, thrown in what formerly seemed as a desperate attempt, went off stunning the entire human army, giving the chieftain time to deal his second devastating shock wave, eliminating the entire caster line and decimating the opponents heroes. A seeming loss was instantly turned into victory and it was then that I realized that each step of that battle was planned and the outcome an inevitable part of it. Thanks for the memories, and hope of more to come in SC2. That brought a tear to my eye. A lot of Grubbies Warcraft3 games were just so epic. I still remember the crazy era, Tauren Chieftain + Headhunters + Statis trap was standard vs Elf. Grubby vs Insomnia on Turtle Rock, with mass invisibilities and epic micro wars. Grubby vs Lucifer on Teranas Stand ...epic micro by Lucifer made the game interesting after Grubby domination. Grubby vs Zacard on Twisted Meadows - Farseer+Alchemist game. *sniffle* great times. Flash from the past. Grubby vs Demuslim on Gnoll Wood..... casted..... by djWHEAT!

What´s the deal about that? Can anyone in the twitch chat ask him about that, I don´t have an account there. Or maybe ask him again in case it has already been asked. Thanks a bunch.

I think his argument was that players are, in general, not as good at it compared to the professional casters and they should also not be "rewarded" for going out of the tournament early. The argument went back and forth between him and several other people, among them Huk, Incontrol, Wheat et al., where the general consensus was that pro players always have better insight into the game compared to even some of the best casters. Slasher, not understanding anything about the game, was a little slow to comprehend. After listening to Grubby and Idra give their game analyses at IEM the last couple days and Grubby also really bring excitement across like some of the best casters, Slasher SHOULD now feel really stupid about his statements. With this, under the assumption the tournament flies the player out, why the hell shouldnt they let them co-cast, they need to make it worth having flown that player out (if they did).Besides many pro players are amazing casters. Agree with you <3 Slasher sounds like a nubz.

Are you sure about this, since as far i know DH is on europe daytime and MLG is at nighttime so isnt he just mixing them up?
