Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen, born May 11 1986, is a Dutch professional Starcraft 2 player who began his professional gaming career as a Warcraft 3 player in 2003. Grubby's first major title came when he won gold at the World Cyber Games in 2004, since then he has won countless championships including ESWC, a second WCG, BlizzCon, CPL, World Esports Festival, WSVG, MBCGame W3, Dreamhack, e-Stars Seoul and many others. The majority of Grubby's Warcraft 3 career was spent as the captain of the illustrious 4Kings team, thought by many to be the greatest team in Warcraft 3 history.
Since switching to Starcraft 2, Grubby has taken his destiny into his own hands and opted to continue his career without the backing of a team. As an independent professional gamer, Grubby has climbed the ranks of the European scene to become one of the top Starcraft 2 players on the continent, with results such as 3rd place at Copenhagen Games, 4th place at ESWC 2011 and 3rd/4th place in WCS Europe Season 2 to name a few. In addition to his abilities within the game, Grubby is also well-known for his commentating abilities and his positive, professional image.

Hey guys, just a little update: I've managed to update the OP with stuff from Grubby's channel as well as stuff on YT. If there's anything you want added, just shoot me a PM!
In other news, Grubby qualified for WCS Challenger League after beating Jjakji! All he has to do is win 1 Bo5 series and he can compete in Premier League again! I'll be updating the OP again after the draw to feature that match-up.
Grubby is also going to be casting at ASUS ROG Winter 2014, so that should be a lot of fun!
He has also been constantly streaming, so make sure you check out his stream here.
Thanks for supporting Grubby and here's to a good 2014 for the Grubster! Cheers!

Q: Does Grubby still play Warcraft 3?
A: Grubby still does commentaries of his classic matches and occasionally he plays a show-match or 2on2, but with those exceptions, Grubby is 100% focused on Starcraft 2.
Q: Is it true Grubby was the best Warcraft 3 player of all time?
A: It depends on who you ask, the question is somewhat subjective. What's not subjective is that prior to his retirement, Grubby held more WCG medals than any other Warcraft 3 player in history and was the only player to have won WCG, ESWC and BlizzCon (the WC3 equivalent of the golden mouse). He was also the highest ranked player in WC3L history and remained one of the most decorated and popular players throughout his near 8 year Warcraft career.
Q: Will Grubby be joining a team?
A: Grubby is an independent Starcraft 2 professional who supports himself through personal sponsors. He has no plans to join a team as he's very happy being independent.
Q: Did Grubby ever play for [insert team]?
A: Grubby has played professionally for the teams 4Kings, MeetYourMakers and Evil Geniuses - in that order. In April of 2011 Grubby announced his plans to become independent, an arrangement which he will maintain for the foreseeable future.
Q: Will Grubby ever go to Korea to practice?
A: Grubby has gone to Korea on three occasions; in September 2011, October 2013, and in January 2013. He currently has no solid plans to return, but would very much like to at some point.
Q: When does Grubby stream?
A: Now that Grubby and Twitch.tv have partnered together, Grubby streams much more frequently. There isn't a fixed schedule, but if you favourite Grubby's Twitch.tv stream then you'll receive email updates when he goes live.
Q: Where does Grubby get the music on his stream?
A: Grubby uses his own personal playlist on his stream. He usually displays the name of the current song playing. If there isn't a name for the song on the screen, ask someone in chat!
Q: I have something I'd like added to the fanclub, how do I submit it?
A: If you have something you would like posted on the fanclub then post it in the comments section and we'll take a look.
