Downtime didn't fix anything. I can't afford a new PC. No practice for a while. This makes me sad. Nony deserves a decent PC. Does anyone want to donate him some hardware? | ||

Will be back later tonight with more info, to PM NonY and spend more time looking at what's available right now. Normally I build PCs, but NonY hasn't struck me as someone who would be thrilled with a box of parts, and building it for him adds a lot of time in terms of shipping before it gets to him. Edit: A belated birthday present from the NonYNutz! Ha ha. | ||

I don't know what kind of fee they have but might be an easy way to get it out there, upload to reddit or some shit. just an idea so if you want to follow through with a pc purchase you don't have to bear the full weight. gl anyway! | ||

To anyone thinking about being helpful: Dollars are awesome. I judge ye in only the most wonderful of ways for any pennies you would be so kind as to part with! If I end up paying for like half of this, that would be ideal. (TL;DR) Sorry for the pre-emptive hype, but I'll come back to this on Monday. I probably should've refrained from saying anything until then, but all that really matter is him getting the PC. I was just sort of struck with a moment of "Fuck this. I can solve this problem." Are people interested in something like this anyway? (Where this == finding some suitable way to gather all the money people are willing to donate and buying NonY a new PC, even though it might not fix the lag issues he's having. It also might fix them. It's hard to say without knowing the reasons behind his performance issues). | ||
