agreed. time to watch idra beating mvp on steppes of war

I hope on his stream he plays with other races for fun now that he doesn't have to worry about loosing the competitive edge. I really want to see him play terran, I'm a little tired of zerg for some reason. It's just fun to see someone with fast mechanics play other races.

Greg, thank you for everything, it's gonna be tough to not watch you playing in tournaments anymore, but im glad you can be happy now and do what you want to do. It was a great career, thanks for giving me someone to root for. good luck in the future.

Idra! Get your ass to Korea and cast proleague!!!!

Really looking forward to the subscription content, especially the replay packs. I wonder if he is considering changing races now that he is not going to compete.
|
Thank you for all the great memories Idra will definitely be subscribing! Now how do we get him to cast proleague?

Seriously, Proleague should get on this.
(He could bring back Imbalanced!)

I'm excited that he's excited. Can't wait for some more awesome casting by IdrA, and continued streaming/other stuff sounds good to me.

I'm looking forward to Greg casting more and the opportunities this can open up for him. I always thought he had more fans then haters or "fucks" but I think its pretty clear he felt the opposite of that and I'm not sure which way the balance truly tilts...either way it would suck to feel that way.
I've also made a career switch and I don't have the earning potential as I did before but I'm no longer a borderline alcoholic and I'm even happy most of the time.
I can't imagine moving to a country that spoke a different language when I was 17/18 and to face the amount of public criticism Greg has. I think we all know what dicks people can be on the internet with zero chance of repercussion and to face that while living in a new/challenging environment would take a person of character to survive (Greg, obviously not an anonymous internet personality) . I guess that's why I want him to be successful and be happy in whatever he does.

Will continue to keep watching you Idra. Hopefully you will continue to enjoy the game and maybe even give constructive feedback to Starcraft II Dev team. Above all else play for fun and have fun teaching other people .

Somehow I don't think this will last. He just seems like an extremely competitive person. At some point in the next few months, he will get a hangnail and decide he misses the competition and start it all back up again.

In LoL.

Agreed - I don't believe he will last either.

Somehow I think I'd be ok with that.

I think you misinterpreted something. Internet sarcasm is hard to pick up on so I can't tell if you are saying Idra won't last in e-sports which we don't agree on or if you are saying his non-competitiveness won't last, in which case we are agreed.

Wow. Imagine if he pursues analytical casting, and streams random to learn the other races better. That would be sooooo cool.
|
Just watched the mini Real Talk. Best of luck in all your future endeavors!

I really hope to see a lot more of IdrA casting. I've really enjoyed the amount of insight he brings whenever he casts.
Also, has anyone stumbled across IdrA on LoL? I am really curious to see him play some.

Holy shit they IdrA is so real. "I don't think I was worth my contract."
