Poor idra, I will remember this moment forever he cheesed jinro, he was so desperate to win, and I think he deserves to win a gsl...but he needs to stop being so fuming stubborn and leaving games for no reason.

How did you watch those games and not realize that he did not do it out of desperation to win? Did you watch the Korean stream or with the sound muted or something? It was clearly stated that the build was pre-planned.

If you don't cheese every now and then as a progamer, you'll be easily cheesed.

Too bad IdrA had to face Jinro at all, but at least we have a non-korean (a macro one at that!) really high in the bracket, and with a strong position to win!

IdrA hwaiting! Unlike a lot of people who bash him for the metal games, I think that keeping true to your ethos and beliefs is an integral part of being a gamer. You don't get to 160 pages worth teamliquid praise and love by just being another good well mannered-gamer. Those come, entertain us for a while and then banish. IdrA is one person that not only is incredible at the game but also provides that little, extra thing that I think every fan appreciates: character. Sticking to your words even when facing an exit at Starcraft II's most prestigious tournament is not stupid, immature or anything like that, it's quite a commendable act.

So, keep it up IdrA, for what little or next to nothing that it may be worth, you've earned yourself another fan

I kind of feel bad for Idra even though I'm a Jinro fan. Hopefully he can come back even stronger next season and that we don't get this stupid foreigner eliminating a foreigner. Unless it's the final of course.

Agree they shouldn't get any special treatment. Its frustrating but can't be helped. If they get special treatment then the whole tournament would have to be seeded so that team kills wouldn't happen.

Anyways, I think people are underestimating how bad a position idra was in on Metalopolis. It would have taken way too long to break those bunkers, his expansion would have been massively delayed, and he would be almost guaranteed to lose within the next 5 minutes to any number of possible attacks Jinro could have launched.

We shouldn't be asking why he gg'd so fast, we should be asking why there wasn't a drone patrolling the ramp.
