I don't get it how can Ret help IdrA practice when he's Z and Jinro's T, Ret can only help Jinro practice in his upcomming match vs IdrA. Read through the thread it helps alot I want idra to advance but jinro is a great player. I just think that idra deserves it. sure this is biased but whatever. I just like his mentality towards starcraft and how he says it like it is and doesnt sugar coat it. This makes him out to be a bad guy but really hes not hes just telling people what they dont want to hear.

Can't be anyone from oGs, can't really be a foreigner due to latency. MVP and MK have other matchups to practice. Clide is unlikely to be friendly. That pretty much just leaves Boxer right? IIRC, he said that he practices with ret, where ret plays him with the race that idra wants to practice against. You think he's gonna practice with Liquid'Ret? :p I do know for sure that he did practice with ret before gsl, before going up against jinro, so it doesn't matter that his in liquid. Yeah and Jinro had a beautiful anti-IdrA strat on Jungle Basin. This is a completely different ballgame now. There's no way Ret is going to help IdrA this time. What beautiful anti-idra strat? Unless your refering to jinro's macro style (which he always does anyway), he went standard, and we all know zerg is destined to lose in late game vT in jungle basin.

Also, the maps have been announced: Match 1: IdrA < Xel'Naga Caverns > Jinro Match 2: IdrA < Metalopolis > Jinro Match 3: IdrA < Shakuras Plateau > Jinro Match 4: IdrA < Jungle Basin > Jinro Match 5: IdrA < Lost Temple > Jinro Just punched a fucking wall. In other news I don't suppose Gomtv have the power to rigg it a bit so the more macro maps are played for viewer entertainment?

Its hard not unwinnable if anyone can do it idra can he just has to do some crazy off the wall strat which might fail though

I think it was Day9 who once said, Idra's learning curve consists of basically droning 100%, then seeing it doesn't work, then squeezing in some zerglings, seeing that doesn't work, getting roaches and hydras as exchange for a few less drones and so on. He has an absolutely rational, nearly scientific approach to Starcraft, in examining what the limits of powerdroning/expanding are, until he gets the absolute perfect equilibrium for every situation. This combines with the popular quote from him, talking about how many people, even those who love something, don't get used to the idea that what makes you strong at something, is hard work and nothing but hard work. This, I admire highly, because it expresses a professionality that surpasses those who have the dream of becoming a progamer but don't see what it actually means to be one. Now sure, this attitude has its downsides, which is mostly referred to as the "Idra rage" symptome. But it is more than understandable that someone who takes the game more seriously than most people out there, gets emotional. And that - getting furious about imbalances, and exploiting one single simple strategy to great success - is a testimony to his dedication to the game. I feel with him. Idra fighting.
