Some of you may retort saying "But fanboism is what makes discussions fun ^_______^." You know what? You're absolutely right. Without fanboism everything would be boring. But this is not fanboism. This is an abomination of puss and shit spewing out of your banana dick cavern we call a mouth. It's amazing how much we degraded over the past months. Shunned by everyone outside the community for spamming LR/Translation/General threads with KPOP idols we outsiders were shoved into this shitcorner by the name of KPOP MUSIC THREAD. We were the yellow fevered retarded minority who didn't listen to Heavy Metal and appreciate it's 40 minute drum solo, and we fucking liked it that way. That's what the KPOP thread was, a holy beacon for those with obsession with 14 (or 30) year old plastic girls singing to autotune and choreographed 'breakdances'. But we were okay with that and we loved every single bit of it. We were grateful a thread like this even existed on TL. We didn't care AS much about fanboism, we just loved the fact that we had a place to commune with each other about Korean Idol music and occasionally actually good korean music. I remember the days when the original 15 of us would sit in Solin's channel and mute/unmute the channel pissing of 15,000 viewers. I didn't give a shit when solin muted Afterschool and boes/oneother/etc didn't give a shit when we muted SNSD's performance, because we were happy that we could be together and enjoy the same genre together. See do you understand the point I'm trying to make? Kpop music aside, we were another form of community inside a great community. Right now the thread is full of hate and anger. But not hate and anger towards idols, but mostly hate and anger towards other members. THIS is what needs to stop. When GTR and LID became mods, I was happy that the Kpop thread would actually be moderated now. The Everyone is terrible in this thread and not many people are making an effort to make this thread Shape up or get out. | ||
