I been listening to kpop since forever but I guess I'm too used to groups without any outstanding vocals, so obviously there's a lot of these artists I do not know and missed while I wasn't paying attention to kpop, if you guys know any I would appreciate it. | ||

Was Lynn yo something I was supposed to look for? because I couldn't find anything by that name. @DwD I love a lot of the singers you mentioned but they don't really sing live much, they just lip sync through stuff which is fine I like them for what they are but I'm looking for more stuff like Lim Chang Jung that dude was awesome. Younha is pretty good I like her, she has a sweet voice and Hong Jin Young is pretty great but she kinds re-releases the same song over and over <.<. There's a few there that I don't know so I'll check those out. | ||

ha hyun woo park hyo shin gummy park wan gyu (has vocal cord illness now so not at his peak) basically every "proper" ballad/solo singer in korea. just stay away from idols or younger singers that are promoted like idols also sable's post is just lynn | ||

if they are as good as Lim Chang Jung then I'm sure I'll enjoy listening to them, hope they have live videos on youtube. I watched a video of LCJ with Gummy and she was pretty good but I couldn't shake the feeling that it was like LCJ was coaching her through the song haha. Yes, that's precisely it, even the best of idols can't really sing live to the level of LCJ or even the two girls in the videos I linked, and that's what I'm looking for, this masked singer show got me hooked on listening to these singers sing so many beautiful ballads and do amazing high notes like it's nothing, really awesome to listen to such gifted voices. Searching Lynn on google just gets me some 12 year old country singer and universities.. so if you have any videos that would be useful. Thanks a lot for your help evilfatsh1t . | ||

Usually a producer/production team starts up a girl group because they want to explore some territory that might not be sellable to labels or to refine/redefine their sound. This is pretty boiler plate. | ||
