4nugu really sounds like a mess, guess they're not used to promoting anymore... when was their last promo cycle???
On my way into the studio Bestie walked past me. The guard had to push me away so they could pass^^ But Im not a bestie fan so I dont even know their names. They looked considerably better than 4minute at their current status.
Just laying your eyes on them didn't convert you into an avid fan??? There has to be something wrong with you. Also, BESTie always look better than 4minute, so you can drop the last part of that sentence...
I met up with him when I went to KR and he helped me get into a show. It's not that hard if you know somewhat what you are doing, which if you have some Korean language knowledge you might. He knew what was going on and if you pick certain groups they have smaller fanclubs so it's easier to get in.
He knows how to get the best spots because he's been to the shows. When we went he managed to get us about 3 rows back from the stage just to the side at Inki, so we were super close.
A lot of it is about dedication. When you consider that there's 4 or 5 shows a week plus fanmeetings though, it's not that hard to get into quite a lot when you live in SK, so while he may have lots of stories, he's been there for quite a while long and had lots of chances to go to things.
Does anyone know the MV where a girl spies on this guy in the library and tries to look pretty by putting on makeup so that she can get his attention. they start dating but then in one scene she's upset. later on, we find out that she was upset cause she thought she couldn't be her real self and was tired of always trying to be pretty. in the end, they are eating food together and are in comfy clothing (slightly chubbier)

When I went to Korea in 2011 on holiday I did about one month of prepwork to figure out how to get into musicshows. Still I had to show up at music shows at 5-6am and run around like a headless chicken trying to figure out what to do. I think for the tourist with no prepwork you need a great bit of luck to see something.
Nowadays I live in Korea, seen most already, and I can select my battles carefully. There is no pressure to go all the time, I can select events where queueing is minimal and I am confident to get a nice standing spot close to stage. I monitor most of the fanclubs daum cafes every day to see upcoming events. I havent been to a live show since october(?) last year, because going to see a whole liveshow takes alot more effort than just seeing a recording with 1 or 2 artists. As an example I wanted to see snsd and 4minute recently but skipped both as gathering time was 6am....You havent heard me seeing SNSD because going with them on a weekend means a huge crowd of people, bad spots and uncertainty of getting in whatsoever. And my reports generally dont cover the waiting time, transportation time or any failed attempts at getting in which happened 2 or 3 times
Actually I didnt go to any music shows in Jan or Feb, but as a TL person contacted me and girlgroup coming back in droves, last week I went back again.
I got very good spots to the 2ne1 and DSP concerts by monitoring the ticket sites like a hawk. I probably bought and cancelled 6 tickets for DSP before I found the final low-entry number ticket.
If I was a billionaire I would buy out my fav girls and manage my own girlgroup^^ (Maybe one cutesy concept with dal shabet Ahyoung, kara Hara, apink Naeun, IU and 4minute sohyun) (Maybe one general kickass group with Hyorin, Ailee, CL, Minzy and Krystal for the looks so I can make money too) Just daydreaming at work...
