if she was actually 'Miss A Suzy' then all of her solo promos would be associated with Miss A, which makes it exponentially difficult for advertisement considering it's easier to market a single image than two at once. The fact that she has her own public image makes her far more reliable as a cash cow than the group, and it's not like Miss A is going to be a top group anytime soon. The fact that Suzy's in the group gives Miss A that much more relevance. Just imagine if she wasn't even in the group - Miss A would be another b-tier group with a bunch of generic members.
It's a win on all angles; great for Suzy herself, good for the group, easy on management, and easy for advertisers.

Besides, Fei is the strongest vocalist in Miss A and that's not saying anything at all. Simply because you're an idol doesn't mean you have to sing well, something that's been reiterated in this thread multiple times. Why else would Hara or Hyuna be relevant?

People just know Suzy as the 'ideal type girl next door' atm and it doesn't matter if she sings or dances or acts or participates in variety. She just has to sell herself on that point and she gets millions of dollars in cfs, not to mention the adoration of guys and fame that come with the money. If you're not a natural vocalist I have no idea why you would continue to trod a dead-end path when there are so many alternatives to take.

also why would you feel sorry for the other members when they're getting a free ride to popularity? Suzy's halo effect gives Miss A much needed attention, and gives the other members a multitude of fans they wouldn't have earned without her.
