Am I the only one that thinks the Rania outfits are rather terrible? I dunno I just don't like it. I know it's Rania and it's supposed to be "controversial" for Korea. This feels so forced

Hah. Who didn't see this coming. Last year's most celebrated date.

The birthday of the loveable Taengoo.

A year ago, I would have considered myself a pretty closed person. But I guess a lot has changed and I opened up and actually told people things that I normally would keep to myself.

SNSD was not my first kpop group nor was Taeyeon my favourite at first. It was actually Tiffany. Short hair and killer eye smiles. But like with a lot of other Asian content I encounter, whether it is anime or music groups...pairings are always there. Of course that led me to TaeNy. The one true pairing. The way that these two girls interact with each other intrigued me. At first, I didn't really know much about who Taeyeon was. But this pairing led to me learning about both of them! An interesting fact was I was going through a pretty dark time (loss of a family member, school stress and a bunch of other things) when I first encountered kpop, and it somehow kept me from sinking into the abyss. Maybe some how watching SNSD go through hardships, somehow gave me inspiration to persevere.

I guess if you look up to an idol, some people will laugh at you. There are some aspects of idols that people consider fake and scripted. I mean how could you look up to something so fake? Well...after all, idols are human too. They will have their flaws too, even if their screen personality isn't really how they are all the time.

So after watching so much stuff about TaeNy and SNSD, I seemed to find myself fascinated with this girl called Kim Taeyeon. I don't even remember how it happened. Who is this adorable cutie? Why does she have such an awesome personality in everything I watch? Why is her voice so enchanting and make me feel at ease? Fast forward a few years, and I'm still fascinated with her and it has not dulled one bit. What is it really about her that makes me so interested? I sometimes wonder, was I pulled towards her because I am interested in females like her, or did I shape my ideals around her? The conclusion I came to was that I was interested in females like her. There's just something in shows and pictures with her that can always seem to brighten a dull day.

Guess let's go with this past year or something. This is like the part where I feel bad for fans of other groups. The amount of content we get for SNSD is so astonishing. The number of fansites and even member-specific fansites out there, working so hard to deliver all this Soshi to us. I could not even scratch the surface of the content I wanted to share from this past year. Gifs were too overwhelmingly cute or hot, so I could not bring myself to go and add them. Maybe in another post. And this doesn't even include recent fancams I wanted to share...maybe another post after this too.

There's actually like 13 volumes of remastered live/studio performances but this one was Taeyeon specific. There are some other songs on other volumes that I would consider really amazing but really difficult to link them.

Oh Taeyeon, why you have such a nice voice.
