To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |
I can't say I'm really surprised.
Smart of JYP to stagger the announcements though, if they said she's getting married AND leaving the group at the same time there woulda been more shit going down. Now the wedding announcement led people to believe this would happen anyway, no one's really surprised and no one's really angry.

Psh, she was forced into retirement, and now JYP gunna add a pre-teen as a trainee into WG.
US markets too harsh, shame WG promoted so much in US.

They should ask t ara for advice on adding members.

All JYP artists except JJ(zzzz their bounce song not good from the beginning) have really good debuts and debut songs. And then after that, the quality of work from JYP artists decreases like crazy. Like WG, 2PM, Miss A, San-E, and whoever else there is. No comment about 2AM cuz I don't like ballads.
|
Miss A quality has decreased like crazy?

2AM has stayed relatively consistent, it's too bad jyp doesn't focus on them as much.
Also nothing about wg has ever impressed me much. Actually now that I think of it I don't like a single wg track.

Touch was fairly mediocre and their latest song, while I really liked it compared to their other stuff, was not that well received.
|
Touch was bad... until you listen to the rest of the release. Which was all far better than the promoted track.

![[image loading]](http://distilleryimage11.instagram.com/8d83cc6e5fc011e2b41022000a9f1899_7.jpg) You guys are crazy hating on Touch

I mean I wouldn't necessarily disagree with Miss A's declning in quality after Bad Girl good Girl. I mean it's pretty hard to constantly put out sth comparable to a song that won Song of the Year at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in their debut year.
Also I realized that the Golden Disk Awards refer to themselves as the korean grammy's but are quite a joke since almost everybody wins sth lol.

touch bad? haha, it's one of my fav songs of all time
and most of ranbow's songs are catchy as hell, no way they are worse than WG
|
Bad Girl Good Girl IS their best song to date, and their releases tend to fall off as time goes on, but that doesn't mean they're necessarily bad at all (Touch was great, you guys are crazy). In fact, I've enjoyed everything they've put out to date. So I'd say it's an extremely gradual decline if anything. Hopefully their comeback will disprove this 'JYP trend.'

So this Image album made me shed some tears, I'm not sure if this was posted here before. I went a few days responding to Facebook with nothing but images in this album.
"SNSD Captions" Enjoy, hopefully someone gets a kick out of it! + Show Spoiler +

Bad Girl Good Girl - Love that song. And I love JIA! She is so hot! :D

Im sorry my friend . WG was one of the first groups that i listened to thoroughly and they still have plenty of songs, even ones they didnt promote that i love. Rainbow on the other hand...meh, too japanesy for me.
And Miss A has been pretty consistent in good quality, and gaining in the looks department every comeback.

I've never been able to describe just why I never liked rainbow and you just did it perfectly

Looks cool man. I'm pretty nooby when it comes to audiophile stuff. I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD215 which do the job but I'm interested in getting more out of my music. What's the deal with the amp and do you download FLAC versions of albums?

What's the deal with the amp and do you download FLAC's of albums? I originally had a Dayton t-amp 15x2 watt amp, but I saw quite a few vintage receivers, and they look sick as fuck so I craigslisted this HK450 for 40 bucks, recently. The HK450 I have is from the late 70's (pretty old ass hardware).
I only have FLAC's of certain albums, but none for kpop. Soundstage for kpop is nonexistent, so going beyond 320kbps mp3 format is a bit pointless.
