I think the idea of girls dressed as chearleaders works because we don't care that they aren't chearleaders. We like the look and associate it with sexy. Where as with the rock band look, we like the kind of person we percieve that person to be. When they fake that, we know they really aren't that kind of girl. There is no room for fantasy there.

I think it's cute. Elvis was bad an this latest is just average but if they come up with a good song I'll be all over that. Been saying for years id love a female version of cn blue.
They're faking to be a female version, that's why people hatin. I don't mind really, I didn't expect it to be like this and I'm genuinely happy with AoA. Not as good as the other rookies imo but let's wait for their live.

But they're not faking, CN Blue/FT Island etc etc are just as fake.

They're all faking but CN Blue and co. are much more believable. Tis not often you just see 6 attractive(not my opinion) girls playing instruments in a band. Seriously like 99% of relevant bands are all male. I don't know, it's just kind of expected. There just aren't as many girl bands/girls in bands so CN Blue is was more believable. I feel like nothing I type makes sense...

the last thought provoking discussion we had in here was tuelites wet dream craze, please do not want
and it's not a bad thing it's like you guys are trying to answer a deep and difficult kpop question "why does AOA's girl band gimmick look fake while ft island and cnblue look more legit" actually an interesting discussion to read.
