How does that look like SNSD? The concept and look really aren't close at all. Redhead's kind of cute though.

It's a different concept in terms of music, but the look and vibe sort of shouts mini-snsd for me.
Like, if SM wanted to make another subgroup out of SNSD, they could've gone with this direction (except more well executed, cuz SM got that $$$)

Even if they aren't SNSD, there isn't much of an argument for them being original though. I do agree that the market's getting oversaturated though. What's worse imo is that everything just feels so artificial compared earlier debuts. And I'm not saying this from just a nostalgia trip either, I discovered Baby VOX and SES in 2010, and there's genuine emotion behind what songs I listened to from them compared to these newborn groups.

I agree completely. I think this especially applies to guy groups (not that I really care for any of the guy stuff anyways), they all sound so similar, it's sort of annoying.

I guess you need to give your trainees some hope if you want them to stay underpaid (I don't know how much they earn actually, it must be very low) backup dancers for your company. I don't know, it doesn't feel a lot like SNSD. It certainly looks like most rookie groups who debuted this year though: generic concept with weak songs and decent looking girls at best.

I suppose I have to give the newbies groups some credit for choreography. The dances are quite nice these days.

lol more SNSD subgroups. The amount of awful speculations I've seen on Youtube and such is comical. "Like what if the next subunit is Hyoyeon, Sooyoung and Yoona??? They could make really awful music and attract zero attention. What does everyone else think??!"

If I were to make subunits for SNSD I'd put Hyoyeon, Sooyoung & Sunny together, just to not contaminate the other groups . It would also be easier to ignore them.
