The SNSD triangle trips up all the newbies. Seo was easy for me because her big doe eyes are easy to pick out in most situations. I eventually just realized that Yoona was a twig and Yuri was DEM CURVES.

I think when they debuted, they were commonly known as the triplets. They even made a short self-made video where they introduced themselves. Yuri called Seohyun and Yoona too pretty, and Seohyun (being the modest girl she is) said that Yuri was prettier, while Yoona said of course she (Yoona) was pretty (jokingly). :p

Well, most of the time for these 3 it's the hair that causes problems to newbies. One of the picture I always think of when someone brings the subject:

Seohyun would be easier to differentiate for a beginner here, but I imagine that Yuri and that Yoona would be quite hard (even without the same clothes).

Yea I had the same problem when I first got into snsd during itnw and both Yuri and Yoona had similar sounding names and the same hairstyles. It also didn't help that Yuri wasn't as tanned back then. I didn't get Seohyun mixed up cause she had bangs. Then during Gee is when I got Yuri and Seohyun mixed up because Seohyun ditched the bangs and had the same hair style with Yuri and I could already tell Yuri and Yoona apart.

I still can't differentiate between the three and maybe never will. I only know the middle one is Yuri because of how much I hated her character in Fashion King.

Easy for me. Far right Yoona, far left Seohyun, middle Yuri. Yoona is the super skinny one, Seohyun has a way different chubbier face, and Yuri looks in-between and kind of tomboyish. I dno. I'm not an SNSD fan at all, but np differentiating. I think Yoona might be tallest too? Their coloration is really different. Or maybe it's just coz I'm Chinese so telling Asians apart is not hard for me.

lol this is from the video that where they introduced themselves and asked if they looked alike. I just tried to search for it on youtube but I forget what it was exactly. If only I had my hard drive because I know I have it somewhere.

I'm up to 8 girl groups now where I can pick out who's who: SNSD, KARA, T-ara, Sistar, MissA, fx, 2ne1, CrayonPop.
For voices, I can only recognize Jessica's, even when I didn't know it was an SNSD song while listening to online radio. Sometimes Taeyeon's when she sings the high notes.

For guy groups its just CNBLUE and BigBang.
