To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

I never really liked wonder girls to begin with. I think the failures was partially moving to the state, but they just weren't that good to begin with. Everyone liked the Wonder Girls. They virtually marked the start of the huge increase in international kpop fandom.

I agree with the consensus. Wg vs snsd wars

The main problem is that the States just dont go for girl groups. A boy group would have a much better chance of actually being popular in the states simply because the target audience for girl groups doesnt exist in the states. Only one I can think of in my life time was spice girls.
Although you could probably do well with IU or Hyuna.

I listened to Saturday Night and I liked it a lot more than Bing Bing, the MV was pretty awesome but I feel like the song didn't fully get over the hill for me. I'm sure if I listen to it more it will grow on me but I will let that happen on it's own.

probably all lies, we are mourning the passing of a true hero to the international kpop community.
who the fuck is bront is yumy anyways?

I actually like a fair few WG tracks that have survived on my mp3 player for a long time. SNSD have had a couple catchy tracks at best. That's about all I can say without feelings getting hurt.
If dramas are representative of Korean fashion it's just tight fitting smart casual stuff you can find in any country. No socks, trousers too short and perfectly quaffed hair.

I ordered a peacoat from there last christmas. It was around $60 after shipping (was on sale) and the quality is decent. It's a good place to start but you could find some stuff at H&M to start.
