They do. The point is, there's a lot of time when there's no one other than the members, alone. The idea that there's always gonna be someone watching is absurd.

Judging by how hard he's tried to push WG in the US and for so long, he doesn't strike me as particularly smart.

I think that's a cultural issue. Most Koreans I know seem oblivious to the fact that their country is actually less famous than it's northern counterpart. A couple years ago the only korean words I knew were Samsung, Taekwondo and Kim JongIl, but Koreans believe, because it's hyped in their media, that Korea is some world fashion trend.
