To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.
Yo, for anyone going to the SBS concert on August 10th, if your fanclub can pull together 1500 tickets you get chance at a fanmeet with your artist. 150 people get picked.
As a Sone I am compelled to ask you to register your ticket under Soshified, especially since the concert is only a few days after SNSD's 5th anniversary. I wish I could go...
1500 ticket registrations is a lot, so it might be hard for anyone to get a fanmeet. Going for only 1 or 2 of the artists might be the best opportunity for it, that's why I say register for SSF. 1 fanmeet is better than none.
Shin Yong Jae's new album is really good. His voice gets to me in a way that no other Korean artist does. I remember when I first heard 4men's Baby Baby I was blown away, and it's still one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Nothing on 24 is quite up to that level but they're still great songs. "너야" in particular features some impressive vocals.
that sounds depressing only 1/10th of the people actually get to go to the fanmeet lol i wish they would just clone all the idols so i can buy a soyeon or jiyeon to live with me or something my life is really empty

I just considered a world where you can buy clones of idols to live with you. Scary stuff.
but if you could clone them, it just wouldn't be the same, the whole point of the idol is that they're unique, but if everyone has one, it just diminishes the value of said idol
with that being said, i'd be happy to have sistar just be 4 clones of hyorin.
I keep thinking Younha looks like LMJ sometimes, it goes away and comes back again. Regardless its nice to see a non-dancing singer able to become relatively sucessful.
btw unichan can you tell me where to buy the t-ara wildroses catalog collection outside of korea

You know im scared of approaching that thing thats in the rules that has been talked about alot in the last oh 100 pages or so but....that would actually be awesome
This is probably what's going on; It's a 30fps video imported into photoshop which only lets you control playback down to a 10ms accuracy which means you can't make it play at the original 30fps speed, because that would require a ~0.033 sec delay. The standard 0.03 sec delay will make the gif play too fast and the only other option is to put it at 0.04 sec which makes it slower than original, but it's far more pleasing to watch.
Tested on two win 7 systems (one nvidia, one ati): the nicole gif plays *much* faster in chrome than in firefox, and in firefox the speed is just right and it's very smooth - in chrome it looks terrible.
The tiffany gif plays slightly faster in chrome but this is only only noticable if you compare them side by side for a while.
for all the chrome-using nicole fans heres a 0.4s version that is smooth in chrome but kinda choppy in firefox
