there are plenty of pictures with Jessica looking like an ogre, and that one with Nicole was filmed live on rm iirc. nana and jiyeon look really bad without eyeliner, hara looks like a frog, and most of 2ne1 are outright ugly with no stylist. I think eunjung looks pretty bad without makeup too.

Yes plenty, and many still look good afterward because their faces wasnt Painted in makeup to begin with. Showering I cant comment on - why wouldnt you keep up decent hygiene?

and most of the "they look gross" reaction comes from the fact that the other 99% you see them in they're wearing tons of makeup that make them look really good.

SM's really going hard with those EXO trailers, but none of them really impress me that much. I mean, the guys are talented but the whole feel is more of that superclean, SM's got money so everything looks more expensive than your average kpop, but otherwise no distinctive style feel to them. Based on the teasers and style they look basically like Super Junior v2 and that doesn't impress me at all.
