She can keep in tune most of the time and she's got an ok range but her voice isn't special or especially powerful at all, but I agree she's usually better. I think especially the last couple phrases she had to sing were too difficult for her; she usually sounds better because SM (or whoever divides up their parts) understands her limits and leaves all the harder singing to Taeyeon.
to be honest when it comes to actual singing voice, most, if not all kpop singers pale significantly when compared to dedicated singers.
But to have that kind of body and power in a voice, you generally need to be quite large, so that doesn't really go too well here...
Well yeah...obviously. I was comparing her to other idol singers though. Even as a sub-vocalist she's not as good as alot of idols in other groups.

Seohyun never fails to impress, she like never stops improving, especially her English pronunciation. I was surprised by how well Jieun sung though, hadn't expected that. Sica had the hardest part and did great, overall a satisfying collaboration.
I agree she had the hardest part, but that high note...was not great. At all. And JiEun is the main vocalist of Secret, she's supposed to be good, especially compared to the other 3 since they only have subvocalist positions.

Yeah...started watching those, kinda makes me want to practice piano again. Makes me regret how I didn't take it seriously enough as a kid. Same goes with guitar -_-

Very beautiful but I wouldn't say she's hot.
EDIT: So to clarify my beauty spectrum doesn't go from UGLY ----> HOT with beautiful, cute, pretty in between. A girl can look Hot but not be necessarily attractive. IE Hyorin from sistar is hot but she isn't as beautiful as some other idols.

Yeah I totally feel you.
Ugly -> Hot, Ugly -> Beautiful, and Ugly -> Cute are totally different spectra.
I feel like "pretty" is a weaker "beautiful" though. I'd never use pretty to describe someone exceptional.
Totally agree on the beauty spectrum, hot is not the same as beautiful at all, I prefer beautiful over hot. But there is only way for me to describe Tiffany: drop dead gorgeous. Behold the queen of eye-smiles + Show Spoiler +

Same with me on terms of my 'Attractiveness Scale'. However I only really reserve beautiful for only a select few :D
Also those are some damn good gifs, so crisp and whatnot.
EDIT: Also that A-Pink MTV perf, Cho-Rong, why you wear that headband??
Actually the dot is fake, it's makeup, so the real her is the second picture without the dot. She does however have a dot on her chin and jaw that look a little like that. I guess it's something the makeup artists decided to add, it seems to be from Mr Taxi (Korean version) styling.

Hey hey, I'm 18 and I just started piano and I've been playing guitar for almost 2 years now....every day I wake up and wonder why I didn't play piano/guitar earlier. But that doesn't stop me from trying my best and it shouldn't stop you from learning either instrument again, either.
