Yeah he's Japanese. He's actually the producer for a bunch of songs for SNSD's Japanese album and he is producing the Japanese version of time machine for them also. Pretty damn good voice for a producer.

Watching B2ST from Mubank yesterday reminds me of how good that song+choreo is. The choreographer got it right- the dude singing is mostly standing in place and singing, while everyone else dances in the background. Fancy dance is still there, dude singing doesn't sound like crap because he has to jump around and shit, even though he can sing.

edit- lol @Suju getting a 9 minute stage, 2x longer than like everyone else lol

Plus whats his name just sitting down relaxing because he hurt his leg actually works pretty damn well with it all, they just had another great performance on Music Core.

Also that Jessica/Seohyun/Gain/Jieun song was really good, though short. Seo looked amazing and Jessica owned it up.

I thought Jessica's singing was the weakest out of the 4, although Ga-In's english was the worst. Seohyun's got surprisingly good pronounciation, due to the LQ and based on the pronounciation I thought it was Jessica at first. JiEun owns them all vocally (Jessica was flat for her high notes most noticeably). I wonder how they picked those 4 to sing the song, it's a random group to put together.

edit- liked that WG stage too, even if the transition between songs was alittle awkward. May just be that accents are harder to distinguish when singing (I notice this alot when listening to British singers, for example, they sound more American to me than they do when speaking) but the shit engrish I was hearing even a year ago is alot better now.
