Okay, I just got back from SMTOWN NYC and the concert was pretty amazing. For some reason I was enjoying the SHINee and Suju performance. I usually never pay attention to them, but I guess it's easier to like music when you're live at a concert.
Kangta and Sulli sang 7989, and the performance for that was pretty cool. Check out fancams later If one becomes available. Also, I think it was Leeteuk, not sure though cuz I don't know SuJu. He was taking cameras from fans in the GA standing sections and taking pictures of himself for the fans. That was pretty cool I guess.
BoA was amazing, but TVXQ really killed it when they showed up during the later half of the concert. As soon as the Keep Your Head Down beat started playing almost everybody in the arena stood up. However, I think the sound engineers fucked up. Everybody sounded like they were at a higher pitch than normal, and this was especially noticeable during the talking bits like introductions. Can someone else who went to the concert confirm or were my ears just messed up because I'm not used to the loudness of concerts?
Also here are the pictures that I managed I get of the event. Oddly enough the only usuable pictures that I took were all of SNSD. I really tried to get pictures of BoA, f(x), and Krystal during the Tik Tok performance, but they all sucked. I guess that is what happens when you use a smartphone camera and not a camera with a proper optical lens. Last two pics I took are pretty sweet though since I didn't have to rape the quality with 4x digital zoom.

Also, I got really lucky. They gave out the official SMTown NYC shirt to my entire section, which is awesome because they were selling them for $30. Such a ripoff price if you ask me.

I'm still thinking about it. I have to look up train schedules and see If I can get into New York in time since I have a class that ends at 2:30pm. I also have classes from 4pm till 9pm but those don't really matter since I don't pay attention in the night class anyways. It's a chance to meet SNSD and I think that is more important than a few classes. ^_^

Omg, me too. I just got back. That was a pretty awesome concert. Moreso cause it was free for me 
There were a few funny points for me.
-The presence of a few 60+ year old ladies standing up, screaming and cheering with the rest of the girls.
-When the guys were coming down the stairs, one of them (I believe it was towards Towers A and B?) pointed at the section and every girl was screaming like usual. One guy, however, pointed at himself and looked confused. He was like, "huh, me?"
-They love their pyrotechnics. I had only 2 hours of sleep the previous night and I was dozing off somehow amidst all that noise when the bangs went off. Nearly had a heart attack.

Another thing about the concert that I forgot to mention. Fangirls scare me. This one girl in particular during the Lucifer performance especially. She looked like she was getting possessed by the music. T_T

Might not fulfill requirement of skirt exactly? Also can't really see the bent knees so maybe it is a total fail. The picture I was planning on posting was actually shorts so I decided on this instead. -shrug-
