Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.
Yo, someone posted something about breaknews or mentioned breaknews on page 1151, and my Google Chrome went fucking crazy over it. Giant red warning page saying something like "teamliquid.net contains content from breaknews.com, a site known to host malware. Do you want to continue?!?!?!?!?!?!???!???!?!"
So is breaknews another one of those South Korean sites that internet security seems to hate for some reason?

This is the video that made me love IU. At the time I didn't know ANY Kpop, I had never heard Gee before or any of the other songs. This video basically introduced me to Kpop because I looked up the original artists. It's almost impossible to listen to the original Big Bang version of Lies after hearing IU sing it.
ok what I'm going to ask for is going to sound crazy, but if any website can do it it is teamliquid.
does anyone have a good ear tell me the chords of Big Bang Lies that she plays on here? That would be AMAZING. Or if you have a good eye, the 1-3-4-5-6-1 (number tabs) will do fine too!
Ok first of all im like 99% sure she has tuned down half a step so like E goes to Eb The progression seems to be C(on the third fret), D, Em, G and she keeps playing that
It would be easier to play tuning it down to play like she did but you can play it with regular tuning as well You can play this without tuning down but you just gotta figure out how to change the position of chords so C would go to the 4th fret and then youd have to bar the rest of the chords so it gets difficult... ha
Oh its also not your regular C (x35553) its like a variation of Cm (x35543) so the C she plays is like this (x35453)
I suck at music theory lol so idk what that C is called, hopefully this helps
I'm sorry if I don't satisfy your crazy loves for IU and SNSD and other, but seeing this is a Korean Music Discussion, I couldn't help but show this - it encompasses the BEST Korean singers, recognized as such nationally, improvising on a remix of a very old song. Enjoy ! Feat: Jeong Yeop (정엽), Kim Bum Soo (김범수), Park Jeong Hyun (박정현) in order of entrance

Girls Day dance version out. It's really just the dancing part from the MV. Sexy stuff. I am seriously digging the one-piece suit Jihae is wearing. Though there seems to be a ladder in the way.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=de4T3-PBVP0 Sound is weird, I'm only getting sound from the right side.
Edit: English version of Can't Nobody by 2NE1. Uses the Japanese MV but it's english lyrics. The song was really heavy on the English in the original Korean so I actually didn't notice the difference.

Strongly considering actually moving to Kpopflash with all the other "old" dudes, but I don't really want to. As long as it's 1 extended SNSD discussion/2 days then I can take it.

Body, fine. Face, amazing.
Those are not words that should come out of CL's mouth, classy choice in lyricist.

Holy shit i love this :D
Hahah sorry, I was editing, trying to figure out why the video double-posted :S Fixed now !
I spy kim shinyoung. is that her?
Yup, she's the "manager" of Jeong Yeop in the TV show in this vid, called "I'm a Singer".

He's my favourite among the bunch too ! Amazing voice. But there's another video with other "top singers" I'm thinking of posting, featuring YB (Yoon Do Hyun Band) (윤도현 밴드 a.k.a 윤밴) and Lee Sora and Baek Ji Young. They're incredible singers too.

i'd like to know why you feel so stongly towards anything snsd related. it's kinda funny and sad at the same time that you plan to leave this thread simply because people are talking about snsd. does the anger burn so deep inside that you want to explode on all snsd fans?
so do you expect to talk about the finer things in life when you move to kpopflash? maybe an in depth analysis of idols will suffice? or perhaps you will discuss the angelical voice of all the idols you admire and immerse yourself in the kpopflash culture. good luck with whatever you do bro.

I think he expects to talk shit about anyone and anything and talk about how much anyone who likes or talks about SNSD sucks, act all elitist, and then constantly rag on various other people in the KPF community (in a joking way of course) for liking groups/members of groups and then come here and troll randomly or post positive messages about his chosen idol or group
Because that's much better than being in a dumb k-pop thread here where people sometimes talk about SNSD.

It's not so much the SNSD (Although I'm not their biggest fan), but that anytime anyone brings up SNSD the same shit is going to be reposted- the ugly photos that have circulated ten thousand times, Yoona/Crypt Keeper, almost same word-for-word adoring posts about SNSD, comments about how cute Taeyeon/Sunny are, snide comments from people who don't like SNSD, etc. I wouldn't mind it if it was actual discussion- I don't like some other groups talked about in this thread- but the adoration, flaming, and then posting of the same shit gets kinda old. Also wasn't in the greatest mood (cause of other things) when I posted that, not as angry now lol.
Anyway, with kpop acts beginning to come onto itunes (Big Bang, now ZE:A), I'm wondering when we can actually see major distribution deals/more groups on there on a more reliable basis so that there's actually an easy/legal way for me to get all these songs. It doesnt seem like itunes distribution is THAT hard, I know a couple local bands who got albums up there, so I don't see why actual large entities can't.
