You don't have to force yourself... Except for Biribiri (heh) it is practically a waste of time, and it gets REALLY bad toward the end. Railgun is only if you want new levels of failure, although I suppose this one will have a different approach (Since it's Biribiri / Misaka only).
I usually don't give in when people complain about bad seasons, but this Fall season looks very grim. Except for the first two rows, everything else looks like boring shit. Will be interesting to see Trapeze though.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet...
But have you guys read the Korean Manhwa "Eureka"? There are really only a select few Korean Manhwas which should be read, but this one is really fun

Manga not Manhwa mrhoonie
+ Show Spoiler +I see a lot of manhwas in bookstores in Singapore, never attempted to give them a try because their artwork, despite good storyline, isn't really to my taste. Any samples?

Manhwa I read from the top of my head are Ares, Cavalier of the Abyss/Immortal Regis, and the stuff from the guys who do Black God (includes Veritas, Freeze(I think), etc).
Fall looks very meh. Probably only going to see Darker than Black2, but might pick up any ones that end up being good, but it doesn't look like alot of it will be.

aw fuck me I lost my anime folder in a reformat. oh well, it was only 120 gigs so it was a rather small collection.

Shauni, how is Railgun fail? Index suffered from the fact that they happily hacked out a good half of the light novel contents to make it all fit, otherwise the reading is quite enjoyable.
PH, if you mean to say that you cannot stand Noto Mamiko, we part ways here
|
That would be "Ship of Fools" from the anime Tsubasa Chronicle, composed by Yuki Kajiura. It's the first song on the "Future Soundscapes I" soundtrack.

I'm talking about anime. It was just pure speculation. Index suffered from a lot of things, not just a messy plot.

I am not sure what kind of standard you are holding for it then, in terms of all the long-running light novel to anime works, not counting FMP, I have to say I enjoyed Index the most, even if it feels like the one that killed the original work the most.
That doesn't really mean that it is good, it just means that in comparison to a long line of crap, it is good. How much of it is sheer force of personality from our favorite junior high student I don't know. Besides, you'll need a lot to screw up Misaka and Kuroko's skinship. If you aren't going into railgun hoping for that though, the anime probably isn't for you. Read the manga and the light novels :p
omg rakkyo raw, my copy can't fly fast enough over the Pacific.
EDIT - yay one that isn't in a format that burns my eyes.

Probably... In the same genre, I like Fafner and Eva more (they are all similiar) yet RahXephon isn't bad at all, although it doesn't feel original.

As some of you may know, Toronto has shitty ISPs and all of them have bandwidth caps, which means downloading and streaming must be selecting. My current thinking is to wait for the DVD/BluRay releases of anime since I am a whore for quality. However, this means that I would most likely have to wait for half a year to a year until I can get a series that I like. If I were to get TV releases I would most likely delete them to get the eventual DVD/BluRay release. I'm leaning towards just waiting for the series to come out in a better quality since I'm really in no rush of watching a particular series.
So I wanted to have other people's opinions on downloading anime. If you were to have a bandwidth cap, would you download series right as they come out episode for episode, or just get a whole batch when better quality is released?

Rakkyo was good as usual, this one experienced the heaviest rewrite out of all of the ones release thus far. I will need to re-watch and re-read the chapter to make up my mind properly on what I feel about the modifications. All I can say was that Azaka was damned cool, lol.
EDIT - + Show Spoiler [thought on kara no kyoukai chapter 6] +Upon rewatching and recollecting the events of the novel, I have to say that I preferred the novel more so than this version, though if they have a good amount of time to work with for chapter 7, it could be fine. Much more focus is given to Azaka whereas the novel focused on the rest of the characters, with things about Azaka brought up only in passing and in narration. Here she takes what is practically a main character role. All the things necessary to set up for chapter 7 has been inserted, but with a lot of the stuff left in the air instead of concluded like the novel had it, I wonder how chapter 7 will turn out here.
