I'm bad at giving recommendations in general.... But if you liked FLCL, have you tried out Welcome to the NHK? I thought that those two went well with each other. Though they're different stories I felt that they both possessed a similar amount of craziness. | ||

Ratings serve as a very rough indicator of quality. The reviews are generally useless. Anime recommendations are also useless, but the manga recommendations are generally half decent. Episode/chapter discussions are usually a cesspool, but are useful for finding out what happens in a series without actually reading/watching it. Being able to track what episode/chapter you're on is also very useful, but that's not really what you're asking. Baka-Updates Manga I pretty much only use this site to find scanlation groups for any given series, and to see how many chapters have been released. Wikipedia Good for general series information and summaries. It's incredibly spoilerific for some series though. @Turgid: If you liked Cowboy Bebop, you should give Samurai Champloo a try. The styles are somewhat similar. | ||

 If you like Cowboy bebop you will probably like Samurai Champloo (same creators afaik) Also watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood if you havn't already, its awesome  | ||
