Ryoma+King of Braves+Kamina combined into one character would be so imba. Even God himself would look like some random ladder scrub compared to that guy.

Mazinkaiser SKL? Being the thread's resident Mecha fanboy, I've been watching it. Its good for the action, but unfortunately it can't really do more than it is with only 3 total episodes. And its not classic a Mazinger setting either. The main characters (2 of them) are sort of like a cross between Kouji and Tetsuya and Ryoma/Hayato (aka crazy violent).

You know, that's another complaint I have about New Getter. The pilot suits suck. Ryoma looks like the mecha pilot version of Speed Racer or something (especially with the helmet). And Hayato has like some ugly-ass tracksuit. With a scarf no less. : /

Hey, the scarfs are the best part about the suits!
I can't argue much about the suits in general, other than the suits are pretty much a throwback to Ye Olde days of Super Robots. Plus, I'd rather pilot suits like those, than pilot suits like in Star Driver, for example. Can you imagine Ginga Bishounen Ryoma? If you can, you should probably kill yourself.

So what's the explanation for Sion having the Black Barrel anyways? The only other place I've ever seen it mentioned was in Notes, and that takes place far into the future. In terms of mystic codes it's pretty neat, but still not as cool as Kiritsugu's. I really hope Shiki has an alternate Satsujinki form, but somehow I think I'll end up being disappointed.

Ever since the hiatus of madoka, I have an anime hole that has yet to be filled in my life. So basically I need a recommendation that will hold be until madoka is resumed.
Recently, I've been addicted to dialogue driven comedy anime like bakemonogatari, tatami galaxy, kuuchuu buranko, stuff like that. If you anime veterans have anything along that vein that would be great.
Otherwise, I'm up for anything that generally very good too.

Most notably, the idea that Earth is a living and conscious being was used in all subsequent works.
Black Barrel, a weapon carried by Gun God seems related to Barrel Replica used by Sion in Melty Blood.
Crimson Moon was mentioned later in an interview as being one of the Types, Type-Moon. Subsequently, TYPE-MOON was the name of the doujin circle Nasu and Takeuchi formed, which later evolved into the company it is today.

Well I've watched both of these recommendations. They're pretty much what I'm looking for so yea hahaha. I've pretty much watched everything SHAFT I just wish there was more Denpateki cuz that shit was good. Oh well... its pretty much why I'm asking for a recommendation right now because I am craving more like that!

I was debating whether I should put K-On on there. It's kinda really polarizing, so I left it off. I guess it counts as moe comedy though. The emphasis on moe rather than comedy. Though there are several awesome exceptions:
