Why does it feel like the manga's wrapping up? =/ @Blasterion: You can use the [ time ] tags to make TL autoconvert times into users' respective timezones. eg. 00:00 GMT (+00:00) On March 26 2011 20:25 DarthXX wrote: Interesting how I see like the odd one out, I hate reading manga, just doesn't have the right feel for me. Less epic than watching the anime (imo) but at the same time its not quite a book, which I also love reading. Like this funky in-between that fails tries to bridge the gap but falls short being worse than the things it a hybrid of on their own. Which is too bad, I hear often that manga are often better than anime, woe is me. Manga, I feel, are almost always better than their anime counterparts with few exceptions. The only areas I think anime are better for are action scenes, clarity, and occasionally, conveyance of emotion. For instance, most of the time in the Break Blade manga, I can't really tell what's going on during fights because many of the mechs look very similar and are various shades of grey. In contrast, the movies have motion and coloring, helping me discriminate between them. For emotion, anime has the advantage due to voice acting. Manga has to rely more on the strength of the art and clever panel layout to create those dramatic moments. When done properly though, it's just as effective as a good anime. Heck, when the art and layout is good enough, words aren't even necessary for the reader to understand how a character is feeling. Where manga really excels is in the pacing. More often than not, anime will skip portions of the story or add filler in order to fit things into a 12 or 24 episode season. And that sucks. Manga, on the other hand, can generally take its time and give the plot just the right amount of time to develop (unless, of course, it's the big three which seem to continue on forever, but that's another matter entirely). It really doesn't help that studios seem to screw up manga adaptations in the most unfathomable ways (eg. Yumekui Merry).

I considered it good because OVAs/movies are generally better in quality than tv series. I considered it bad because we're gonna have to wait an extra year to actually watch the damn thing. ![]()

I did like the randomly wonderful animation and art for Agiha and Echidna's death only, but not for the other four Inspectors >_> Edit: Also Wendoro randomly being an Einst -_- and the Gilliam teleport -_-

Its about a former leader of a motorbike gang who decides to become a teacher so he can get the hot school girls but ends up liking the job and changes their lives. I spent most of my time laughing with the faces he makes and his style of teaching. The stories are usually a 2-ep format with the main plot being Onizuka sensei trying to sort the students out as we learn why they hate teachers.

Speaking of the last episode, we better get an actual SRW ending on it lol. AKA all your best units unloading all of your most powerful attacks on the main boss one after another. So Tatsumaki Zankantou AND Rampage Ghost AND HTB Cannon/other attacks at the same time. IMO its kinda crazy to complain about lots of stuff being changed at this point. You remember Thrudgelmir showing up in episode 1? Things have been modified radically from the very beginning of this show, so its just unrealistic to expect an exact adaptation. I dunno about Wendelo going all Einst, but the Gilliam teleport thing was a shoutout to Kamen Rider. I wouldn't be surprised if the Gespenst Mk.3 shows up in the final episode for Kyosuke to fight. So I'm on the mission in BMW where Rider uses the Blood Fort or w/e. Rider can't even damage Akiha with Bellerophon, lol

End ending was...... really...(here's the CG) + Show Spoiler + ![]() And various cool non-H and non Puddles of Blood CGs to go with it + Show Spoiler + ![]() Erruruw Shitty Character but the best/only healer in the game >.< ![]() Aruruw, probably my favorite Character to use, since most of any damage she takes is single digit. Except in the rain. This girl is such a beastly tank =O, btw Aruruw is the smaller girl ![]() Touka, a strong warrior, decent stats. Didn't get to use her much, Total klutz =P ![]() Urtoriy, Mage = Shitty. ![]() Kareru, She's probably the strongest character out there as far as damage goes. in terms of defense Aruruw is King(queen) ![]() Kamyu, Strongest Mage character, but then again Mage = Suck, Actually I take it back I liked her character developement and all and Darkness is a pretty awesome spell it's just that Mages in general just suck.
