In manga you see a much bigger variety of tropes etc.

Some of them also have artwork that puts most anime to shame. The average production value anime is going to have a lot of reasonably still animation wich is cheaper to produce so they can pump more money into scenes where it's needed (action mostly). Homunculus is a very impressive piece of work imo. It really has some of the best art you are ever going to find and a story that is just nothing you have ever seen before. http://www.mangafox.com/manga/homunculus/v01/c000.1/1.html It deals with suppresed guilt and forgotten memories. I usually don't like the stories that focus on stuff like that because 99% of them fall into the pitfall of being wanna-be art where the story is deluded and aimless and the creator just screams that "you don't get it!" whilst in reality the story has been poorly written and there isn't anything to get. This story avoids those pitfalls by not having a wanna-be philosopher as it's writer. I think it's one of the best examples of what manga can be like but at the same time it's artwork is beyond spectacular and you really won't find many manga's that can compete with it on that front. But the whole manga v anime and wich is better seems like a silly debate. I still find FMA version 1 to be the best anime i have ever seen and i believe it surpasses both the manga and the 2nd version, but others disagree. Only reason i read a manga is if there isn't an anime about it, otherwise i would in most cases watch the anime, just habit i suppose.

Manga is awesome, especially since there usually isn't as much content to read as a full book, so you can get through a manga backlog pretty quickly. + Show Spoiler [Merry 23] + Wtf Chain Noir. When did this turn into an ecchi manga? >.> + Show Spoiler [chapter 27] + LOL at John's vessel. That's awesome. Admittedly, I'd be pretty creeped out if I saw this: ![]() Hey, they're actually in school now! Why were they in school from the beginning in the anime -_- On March 26 2011 16:22 Spazer wrote: I was planning on posting something from chapter 30 (the random girl demon) and commenting on how awesome the character designs in Merry are, but I got lazy. I love her hat. So moe :3 + Show Spoiler + Finally caught up. This manga is too awesome so far. Damn I love Isana. She hasn't appeared enough to this point, but maybe she will appear a lot more often now >.>

The season was "ok" at the very best for most of the episodes, but did have some good scenes. The last two episodes or so though were really good and really peaked my interest in the show again. I'm hoping they can just roll into another season and leave it as it's going now, but both probably won't happen.

+ Show Spoiler + Suddenly Nitori had longer hair and was taller for no reason. And the breakup was so rushed and forced that it wasn't even emotional. Also, there should be a law that lets you smack kids who are being pricks. These kids are so stupid. "lolnitoridresseduplikeagirl" "GUYS LET'S DO A PLAY WHERE WE ALL DRESS LIKE THE OPPOSITE SEX" -_- Edit: Oh fine you win.

Aww chap 95 It looks like anna and nitorin are making up. Though it is true, they don't really have romantic feelings for each other so it feels kinda wrong they are going out - they are just best friends, like girls IRL Whereas i can see a lot more potential for romance with takatsuki, but then again, thats potential, there isn't any atm
