Clannad is the king of the hill when it comes to the genre because of how well the story is told and how well the characters are developed (Tomoya). You using the word "monstrosities" seems like you use it as a reason. I mean, I could care less, but it doesn't really seem like you give any indication as to what your reasons are for not liking slice of life, rom-com, rom-drama shows other than you saying "general dislike". If you just don't like it simply because you don't like it I guess that's all there is to it.
