I'll read through the whole thing later, only 400 pages anyway, but probably people aren't going to be very happy about that third harem. I mean, I certainly felt it was freaking retarded when I saw it coming in vol22. Murderous intent is the purest form of love, didn't you know? =/

That should honestly be a T-shirt. That'd be awesome.

lolwut. The three laws of robotics are in the top right corner. Just in case they forget? :3

Just finished the Eve no Jikan movie. You know how after you watched Finding Nemo and you were like "fuck humans, fish forever ;_;?" Well, I basically feel like that. Except with robots instead of fish.
Also, Sammy is sooo pretty and awesome. She can be my first robot love~
Definitely one of the best anime movies that I have ever seen. Probably surpasses 5 Centimeters per Second, IMO.

So I started reading Umineko no naku koro ni VNs a couple weeks ago after I watched the anime. 1000% awesome. And way better than the anime as expected. *_* It's very interesting even though i already know the plot of the first 4 episodes due to the anime.

I recently finished watching the Black Rock Shooter OAV - does anyone have any suggestions for good animes which mix similar sorts of themes (aka. Normal lives/Fantastical worlds colliding etc.) I'm fine with gore etc, but I hate harem/romance animes, so please only horror/action/sci-fi ones thanks :D (I've seen Gantz before anyone mentions it ^^)

Check out Darker than Black.
And no, there is no second season. Do not even ask about such a thing >.>

Bokurano - while it's technically mecha, mecha is certainly not the main focus here. Not by a longshot. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha - sorta Puelli Magi Madoka Magica - it's still airing, but the show itself is amazing. Shakugan no Shana - your mileage may vary since there's some pretty dumb romance in there

I'm not sure Nanoha's what she's looking for... and shana has a lot of very dumb romance.
I'd add to that list Ga Rei Zero (although it has some fanservice, just bear with it), dennou coil (kinda...), and Haruhi, if for some reason you haven't seen it yet.
None of these totally match except for Ga Rei Zero, but I think they're close. Madoka fits well too.
For "thrust into fantasy world with no escape", Haibane Renmei is what you're looking for.
|
What is "thrust into fantasy world with no escape". You or the protagonist(s)?
|
The protagonists. Haibane Renmei is a "wtf where am I" amnesia-fest at its best.

The protagonist. What exactly would cause you to be unable to escape?

I think there's a live action movie of it but I haven't watched it so I can't say if it's any good.
And yes Bokurano is definitely something youre lookin for.

I got bored of the new Index in ~10 pages, someone convince me I should read on.

Sigh. So shit like this comes out within days with scans but I still can't find any Kokoro Connect beyond vol 1. To make it all worse, as I finally had the time to visit Kinokuniya yesterday, I found that the NY store has improved on the LN section a ton.
Except the improvement is made 90% of books I bought since I stopped going to Kinokuniya on a semi-regular basis. fml
Oh, I'd spoiler that except it makes no sense other than to people who have spoiled themselves already o/

Morning Rescue definitely All jokes aside Friendship is Magic IMO

I would love witch end... that would be crazy if pulled off correctly. Or witch team end. Or wishes and curses balance out end. (yes I like the bad endings).
|
Second and third to last ends are funny :<
